PLEASE READ THE CONTRACT CAREFULLY, EVERY WORD. WE DIDNT AND REGRET IT NOW. WE TRUSTED THEM AND MOST OF ALL, MY MOTHER NEVER RECEIVED A CALL, A CARD FROM THE OWNERS OF THE HOME GIVING THEIR CONDOLENCES FOR THE LOSS OF HER HUSBAND. WHAT HOME DOES THAT, WHERE IS THE COMPASSION. JUST BE CAREFUL.

My grandmother will be moving in to Alott of Care. It's like a home that only had ten people in it. It's a mixture of assisted living and memory care. They specialize in elderly folks with dementia and Alzheimer's. They were fantastic and it's a beautiful home. The staff was incredible and the owners were above and beyond fantastic. It was a nice clean place and the residents I spoke to even said they were happy there. They have a little area that was sectioned off with books, games, and puzzles, and they have other activities that they do constantly. I can't think of anything about them that was not good. They prepared the food from scratch and the other ladies who lived there were very happy with the quality of the meals.

My husband was in Alott of Care. It was nice, and my husband liked it, but I brought him home because I could take care of him. Anyway, it was expensive, but it was OK. They took care of his medications, and they took really good care of him. My husband is a picky eater, but he ate. They had good meals mornings, lunches, and dinners, then they had a snack at nighttime. They could sit and watch TV. They could also go outside in the back to have sunshine. The lady had a big house, she had 10 people there, and my husband had a room.

This facility is a large, newer beautiful home. They have 10 residents. The bedrooms are large, semi-private rooms with own bathrooms. They are fully handicapped equipped. Some are carpeted and some tiled. They also have two large living rooms for sitting and watching television and movies. They also have a family room where they play games like bingo or cards. Outside they have a large, fenced yard with a large patio and nice lawn. The food is home cooked in the large open kitchen, They serve three meals a day plus snacks, The diet looks nutritious, The staff is all certified care givers with an RN on duty five days and on call. The owner is also an RN. They have up to 5 staff on days and 2 afternoons and nights. They appear to take good care of the residents. Some doctors come in and a nurse practitioner. The staff does the laundry there. They do not transport the residents themselves. So I see that most activities are based in house, Residents go out with family or arrange other transport. In my opinion, this limits the residents level for active lifestyle, Other than that, the home is very nice, clean and residents well cared for. The owners are opening another home in Apache Junction. This first home has been open 5 years.
