Beehive Homes of Marana is a wonderful Assisted Living Home, my mom has been at Beehive for almost 3 years. This home is professionally staffed with only caring and concerned management and staff, making sure every resident is medically and emotionally cared for as you would your own family. Not only is the residential great room, dining room, kitchen and beautiful outdoor space impeccably clean the specious residential rooms are equally the same. House Manager Joey is 100% a working manager, cleaning, cooking and taking care of residents needs as well as her relief leader staff. Staff members will play games with residents as group or individual games as time permits as well as nail painting, curling hair, cleaning and clipping nails or just providing emotional support when a resident is in need of special attention. Over 3 years time I have seen little staff turnover and most have been employees not meeting the standards required to maintain a stable home as Beehive requires. Most weeks I visit 2-3 times, this is a family environment home. I highly recommend this home.

My mom has been at this facility for almost a year. We received a 30-day vacate notice from the manager yesterday. Her reason for the vacate was due to my mom's level of care and their inability to care for her. My mom's level of care has not changed to a level of care that they are unable to meet. She recently had a routine care assessment meeting with the manager, caseworker, and I and this was never brought up. The real reason, I believe, for the eviction is because a caseworker and myself submitted a report to Adult Protective Services (APS) regarding a current caregiver that has been mistreating my mom by displaying aggression, scolding her, withholding snacks, and limiting her water at the table. My mom is a diabetic and is administered two different types of insulins. Because of this, there is a possibility of her blood sugar dropping to a dangerous level. Aside from the diabetes, my mom has kidney disease. Her nephrologist has requested that she increase her water intake. The manager was informed of this and also the inadequate amount of water offered to my mom during her meals. Mind you, this is the 2nd time Beehive has been reported to APS in less than a year regarding the same caregiver. The first report was by a previous employee who specifically stated mistreatment of my mom and other residents by the same individual. Naturally, the manager labeled her as a disgruntled ex- employee. I have received statements from other caregivers validating some of the same concerns as the previous employee's report, hence, my decision to file a report with APS. Aside from this particular individual's behavior and the manager turning a blind eye, they have continously had a high turnover rate of employees, with more than one employee, naming this individual's behavior as one of the reasons they chose to end their employment with Beehive. If you are looking to place your loved one in a facility, I would highly recommend that you look elsewhere.

Beehive Homes of Marana is a wonderful assisted living facility where my mom has been a resident since Aug 2022. This homes is well managed, staffed, and impeccably clean. The manager Joey is very on hands and available at all times. All caregivers and housekeeping are friendly and helpful and treat everyone as family. There is a beautiful covered patio available for residents and visitors to use at their leisure at all times. I highly recommend Beehive Homes for your loved one.

I would not send a loved one to this residence. My mother was a resident for several months. She received very good care under the supervision of the old manager. However, when they switched management my mother fell out of bed and broke her hip. Accidents happen, we did not blame Beehive. They didn't bother to call us to let us know. When we had to move her to hospice (due to her fall), the manager told us we could receive a refund for the month. When I called to follow up, she lied and said she had already spoken to my sibling. She referred me to the owner. When I called, I got the owner's wife who had never heard of the request for a refund and blamed the lack of follow up on the old manager. It isn't the accident or the lack of a refund (I was cited the policy) it was the lies, lack of care or concern and no call to inform us of our mother's accident. Don't put your loved one in this facility

The staff at Beehive is very nice. They went above and beyond to make my family feel welcomed. The facility is always clean. The rooms are very nice size and give a variety of options. My family member was extremely happy at Beehive. I am thankful they were there.

Great staff, very clean. Felt like a home, 1 floor and no longer hall ways. Everyone went out of there to make, we where ok.

At first glance this facility looks wonderful. But beneath the surface, the "favorite" nurse is cruel and petty. If you're loved one is not one of her favorites then they will be forced to wait on their medications and mocked at every opportunity. I would not recommend this facility.

Beehive Homes was small, the people there truly needed a lot of assistance, and it was not a fit for my friend. The staff member who took me around was very helpful, very thorough, and answered all the questions she could. However, pets are not allowed there.
