We like Gracious Granny's LLC. It's very soothing. It's wonderful to have like an all-woman location. The residents looked very happy, and the staff was very loving. It's just a very soothing place. The living spaces were very nice, spacious, clean, and well-kept. We were there during lunch, and the food looked very good. They have a courtyard, a little garden area, and a beautiful living room with a piano, games, and puzzles. It's like a receiving room. There's a large library area. It's a nice place, but I wish they had memory care. The living room is super modern and clean and everything. But the back spaces are not as modern. They're clean, but it's not like everything is brand new. But it wouldn't stop me from having a family member there. It's very wonderful.

I went to the Gracious Granny's. They only take women, and I think they only take 10 or 12 at any one point in time. It was very nice. People were very friendly. It was a big house in a nice area. It was very clean and very well-maintained. I didn't see a pool, and I don't know anything about activities, but the residents seemed happy. It seemed a nice place, and it seemed like they had plenty of help.

This is a small assisted living in a home that has been converted to a residential center. It is located in a greenbelt outside of rural Cottonwood Arizona, As an Occupational Therapist with many years of experience in serving elders, what I appreciate the most is the involvement in meaningful activities that tie in to the best abilities of a lifetime of experience, vocation, hobbies, interests. There are fostered kittens, a chicken coop, veggie gardens, fragrant gardens, fruit trees. (this is was built as a family ranchette). The yard fenced in front and back with green grass (a treasure in Arizona) is standard in this riparian area. Inside the house, the spacious living room is adjacent to the kitchen; so the natural cycle of participating, anticipating with familiar sights, smells and sounds of meal preparation is part of the daily routine to anchor community and the house 'family'. This is a very small and intimate business that is privately owned. Individual attention is the norm.
