My loved one stayed at Cedar Pastures. The thing I liked least is that he was far from the bathroom. The attendants there were compassionate and hands on. They did help. There was plenty of room to walk and move around the home, but his room space was small, because he shared a room there. It was a clean environment. They kept up with laundry and stuff, so they were good at that. There's a patio for any resident that wants to go outside in the back. It was good care. It just wasn't a good fit for him, ideally just because of the bathroom being a distance for him, and sharing a room with someone that was up all the time. The staff was always on top of things. They're pretty regimental as far as medications, helping someone shower, and getting them out of the room. They're attentive in that respect. I did not feel the food was that great. They could make it more Americanized. I think the attendants there are from other countries, so they're not familiar with American food as much that I could see. The taste was different. It's an older home, but it's spacious. The air-conditioning works. Everything works. It might need a little bit of a facelift, but for the most part it's well kept. They didn't have any activity while we were there, but they were going to start sending them to some senior care.

Cedar Pastures was my first choice for Dad but they only had private rooms, which Dad couldn’t afford. It’s a well-kept home with a very big backyard and some sitting. The staff seemed to be very caring, and the lady I spoke to has been in there for 17 years. It’s very clean and nice.
