These people are the best with a special heart for the elderly and those needing assistance. They wanted to know all they could about my dad before he moved in there. They were very attentive to his medical needs and made sure everything happened as fast as possible. They were a nice and caring group of people I can say enough good things about.

My husband was brought to Angels Wings Assisted Living Home yesterday. It's a regular house. There's no sign out front that says it's an assisted living or anything like that. It looks just like a normal house and a family runs it. They have a maximum of five patients. My husband is the fifth patient so they are full now. They have very specialized individual care because there are so few patients there. He is in a private room with a nice, beautiful, and big window. He has his own television and he could move in a lounge chair or a recliner if he wants to. He has room for physical therapy if they're going to be able to do that with him. He receives specialized care because he needs it and he wasn't getting that in a bigger place. This is a smaller place where they can give the individual care that he needs. They don't have any microwaves or any frozen food. Everything is cooked at the place by hand. You can ask for anything you want, as far as food goes and they will make it for you whatever your desire is. They have meals planned out, but if it's something that you don't care for, they'll cook anything you want. They'll help feed, bathe, and shower you too. It's why I chose this place for him. He's going to get individual care. I'm hoping that it works out and it looks like it. The people are very, very nice. They also live in the house, so they may punch out at a certain time, but they're all there living in the same house. If the residents need help after hours, there's somebody always there. I know that the patients that are there, if they're able to, can come out of their rooms and join the family for breakfast in the kitchen and sit at the table. Everybody can have breakfast together, lunch together, dinner together, and whatever they want. They have a beautiful patio that they can utilize too so it's a friendly atmosphere. The staff seems very, very adequate, knowledgeable and trained well. They do all the cooking there, all by hand, and all from scratch. They don't use anything that they need to put in the microwave and nothing comes from the freezer. Everything is fresh.
