My mom moved to The Neighborhood at Madison. The rooms are extra large and it is accessible for people with wheelchairs. They can move around from room to room with no problems. Valerie was excellent. They have a lot of activities. They have bingo, singing exercises, and church. Last night they had sundae ice cream, and then had a little singing with it. They have a lot of presentations; very full day. I tried their food when we got our tour. We had lunch with them.

My mother has moved into The Neighborhood at Madison. It's really open and clean. Everything about it is very inviting and very clean. Every one of the staff has been really helpful, really warm, and inviting too. They offer the ability to be really involved in the activities. They've already asked my mom a few times for recommendations of what she wants to do. I know they have short exercises every morning and some crafts, but they really encourage their community members to be involved in picking out things. I haven't had any of the food, but my mom loves it. I know it's great. They're really attentive to diet, like low salt and no sugar. They do a good job.

I like the environment at The Neighborhood at Madison. I like the cleanliness, the smell, the personnel, the rooms, and the way they work with us on the pricing. Everything is positive. I think my in-laws are going to like it there. They are going to be in a one-bedroom apartment that has a small kitchenette. They've got their little sitting room and a separate bedroom. It has a nice roll-in shower and a nice deep closet that is situated within the bathroom with plenty of shelving. I think it's going to afford them some really good conveniences and plenty of room. The lady who gave the tour was extremely thorough, very well prepared, and took ample time with me. She set aside a good hour and a half to 2 hours and I felt like she had just reserved a good segment of time just to show me around and to be as thorough as she could in going over the costs and needs and everything associated with that I just felt like it was important to her to do as much as she could to help us. The menu looked marvelous, too.

The rooms are acceptable except for the showers where there was a trip hazard. Most of the staff were helpful and professional but they had their share of bad apples. Many activities were available for the younger, more active residents. When my mother was there in 2022 there was never a competent hairdresser available. This was a major issue for her since she would go for weeks without having her hair washed. We were also very disappointed in the lack of compassion and adherence to contractual guidelines in the last few weeks of her life.

I thought it was small but very nice. The staff was very helpful and answered all our questions. The rooms were very nice. They had a game room, an eating area, and a piano. I would recommend them to others because I thought they were more family oriented and smaller, so you would probably know more people there.

I went here and I liked it. I liked the rooms, but I thought that the other community would be better for my dad. It's closer to golf. I just didn't feel they had the energy that my dad has.

My parents like the place. My parents had a walkthrough there. The people are very nice and they have a good staff. The room is nice and very clean.
