Our dad was at Keestone of Florence for seven and a half years. I cannot say enough good things about the staff and facility! Even during Covid, they did everything possible to keep everyone safe and communicated to residents and families on a regular basis. The food was as good as home food, dad even approved of the sweet tea! The staff became family, and I know dad loved them too. It is hard when your parent needs assisted living, but I can honestly say having dad at Keestone put us as ease knowing he was well cared for, and that he felt he was cared for with respect.

Keestone of Florence is very god, I had an excellent tour. The place is very nice and we have nothing bad to say about it. The appearance is very nice and upscale. They gave us the tour and we had a meal that was very delicious. The nurse who gave us the tour was very informative and nice. A couple of residents talked to us and tried to encourage us to choose it saying how much they like it there. The room that they showed us was beautifully-furnished by the resident. The senior communities in the area kind of divide themselves up by religious preferences. My mom is Catholic and Keestone is owned by somebody from Church of Christ, and so I didn't know whether my mom would fit in well. I've got to say that this place really work on the food.

Keestone of Florence is very beautiful and seems more like a luxury hotel instead of a facility, which is just wonderful. It has assisted living and independent living, and they have like a 50’s room with black and white tiles, red chairs, and vintage model cars that may have a bistro where you can get coffee at any time right by the entrance, and they have linen table cloths at the tables. They only have about 44 residents, so it’s not huge, and it is downtown. I passed it before and thought it was some kind of luxury business; I didn’t realize what it was. My mother has celiac disease, and they have to accommodate in the kitchen and also she has many allergies, so they’re actually doing her linen with the free detergent and using the right kind of cleaner on the floor. They’re doing some strong adaptations, which is very kind. They do charge an extra $200 a month, but considering what they’re doing, I don’t think that’s excessive. The manager actually went out to check on whether or not there are certain foods that they can get.

Keestone is BEAUTIFUL and has both independent living and assisted living--high ceilings, stacked stone, dark beautiful wood--wood and wrought iron doors, landscaping award. . . four years old. . . a 50's room, linen napkins in dining room, grand piano in beautiful lobby. . theatre room. . . I toured an efficiency/studio apartment. All is wheel-chair accessible with beautiful tile in the bathroom and in the entry area. The small kitchenette area has a college-size refrigerator and a microwave as well as a small sink. There is no cooking in the room. The director was friendly, well-organized, and well-informed. They seem to be flexible and accommodating as they work with the residents. We plan to use this facility for a loved one and look forward to the association.

I am now living in Keestone of Florence, and it is a nice facility. They make special efforts to care for their residents. They have a small theater and activities of all sorts. It is almost like a hotel. It is an excellent place, and I would highly recommend it.

Keestone was very nice. The accommodations were just super and the whole atmosphere was wonderful but for two people, it was not that convenient. We really loved it but the rooms just could not accommodate two people. It was convenient enough for our kids and smoother on its drive. Our daughter took us there and it was just clean and cheerful and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We were invited to eat there and the food was excellent.
