My mom moved into The Pearl of the Shoals. Everyone is nice to her. My mom likes her room. It has a bedroom, a sitting area, and a bathroom. My mom likes the food. The dining area was very nice. They have games, a library, and an outdoor space. They take them on outings.

The Pearl of the Shoals was a very well-kept facility. I was very impressed with the staff and very impressed with their knowledge and the information they provided me. I was very pleased with the place. They had indoor and outdoor facilities and the accommodations were first-rate. I've been very pleased with everything we've seen and everything we've been told.

We went to Shoals. They have one studio apartment that was available for folks to look at, but I don't think it was the one that you could actually move into. There were no patients around; it was just family and the director there. We didn't get to go in. The staff was wonderful, very nice, patient, took a lot of time, answered questions, and provided information. We saw the model room, and they have a lot of virtual things that were discussed with us, but as far as going anywhere around the other residents, we didn't because of COVID. They have a dining room there, and they told us when COVID restrictions were loosened that you could have all the family come in and have dinner with the resident. It was away from the main dining room. We saw that from inside the lobby.

It was fine, they were all nice, and the rooms were nice. They have everything that my father needs. The staff was very nice, the room was small, more like a studio, but we expected that. They had a library, a room where they do puzzles and things, and another place to get their haircut. It was closer to where my father lived, and he's moving in next week.
