My mom was in the Country Cottage - Russellville last year and she got good care there. She was very happy there until she needed more care and she came to my house. They were very attentive to mom, especially her name's Anita, she was fantastic with my mother. It was clean and it didn't have that odor, it smelled good and they had a lot of activity. They had bingo, they did some paintings and papercrafts in which my mother participated. They have a lady that came in and did everyone's hair there, but I don't know if they still do since it's COVID.

I went to Country Cottage - Russellville. It was awesome, as well as the lady who showed me around. Everybody seemed happy and well taken care of. It was clean and homey. I had seen the residents getting served and the food looked great. They had a dining area, a living room area, a TV area, and a back porch. It was nice.

I was impressed with Country Cottage - Russellville. That place was really good. It was clean. They're all the time doing activities with the residents. They had an activity director. It was a lot better for the money. The staff were all very friendly when you went in. They offer a lot of different activities. The ones that are able, they take them out shopping and stuff, and so I thought that was nice. They have a salon. In terms of locations, they have a lot more restaurants within a half mile to a mile, and the hospital is maybe three-quarters of a mile. However, if we moved my mother to Country Cottage, and in six months, she needed more care, then we would have to go to Florence and that's just too far for us.

I've visited Country Cottage - Russellville. I like that it's bright, it's quiet, and not too busy, and they have a handicapped shower in the one room that I saw. It's easy to get to from downtown, so you don't have to go out in the boonies to find it. They have an enclosed outside area for sitting, and it appears that they have plenty of safety and activities. The staff who gave the tour was well-informed, and patient, answered our questions. I was there during lunch, they have a menu, and I glanced at their food because they were serving it, but I just didn't taste it. It's just that they didn't have a nice beauty shop, it's just a makeshift space, and as of yesterday, they didn't have a hairdresser available. They were looking for a hairdresser. It's pretty important for elderly women to have their hair beautiful.
