"This is a great place for your loved ones to stay, if you need a safe place for them while you are working, or if you want them to socialize or do activities. The price is not expensive for a whole day stay with food, and the lunch is good. The activities include exercise, bingo, dominoes, and card games. They have music therapy where they can listen to and talk about music. Participants attend garden therapy where they arrange fresh flowers. They also do live sing-alongs and arts and crafts. The facility is clean with a big washroom. The staff members are caring and nice. Participants have time to rest or take a nap in the recliner chair, if they like . Some participants are nice and friendly and some are more quiet."

"Dad goes to Accolade, which is a great facility. They were very engaging with the people, and they were very active. The first day I went there, they had them doing chair exercises, listening to music, and they were even dancing. It was really rejuvenating to see how they were engaging with the elderly. They had Bingo, arts and crafts, and they even had an art walk, where you walk through the facility to see the residents' art."

"My mom came to live with me after she suffered a stroke and was not able to take care of herself. I work full time and don't have family that can help watch my mom while I'm at work. A social worker recommended I look into adult day care facilities and recommended this one to us. My mom loved it the day we visited! Most of the residents and employees are Spanish-speaking, patient, and wonderful! They have a bus that comes every morning to pick mom up before I leave for work. Once they arrive at Casa Central, they eat breakfast together. Each day is filled with a different activity that makes my mom look forward to going. My mom's personal favorite activities include: aerobics, dancing class, singing songs, crafts, and the (optional) sermons given by a pastor. For holidays, they have special events that include kids and even musicians like mariachis! Casa Central even has field trips for those residents that are well enough to walk longer distances. They also eat lunch there and have a bus that drops them off at home in the afternoon. I recommend taking your loved one to visit this facility. Like my mom, they won't want to leave. "

From the outside it is a beautiful apartment complex in Chicago, near to downtown and the Lincoln Park Zoo. It is a wonderful neighborhood that offers many stores, restaurants and activities. Those who come for adult day care are offered all the internal activities and all the external outings. It is a wonderful place for seniors to go to engage in socialization, activities or education. "I had an inventory of my mom's talents and interests. Coupon clipping, yes. Recipe consideration, yes. Classic cinema, yes. Anything else? TV. Toured senior housing with her and she adamantly declared disinterest in any activities they suggested. Find and attend CADC...and it is like camp. First day you drop off there is anxiety, will my mom be OK? (YES). Will she make friends (OH, YES). At the end of the day, I would arrive to pick her up and she would not be ready to go. She did art. She did music. She did exercise. She played games. On occasion, she napped! Who was this person? The place is clean, an interior decorator has not been called, but the people are "worth their weight in DIAMONDS!" Mae & Diane were blessings 100% of the time. Mom especially enjoyed the coffee break with danish each morning and preferred to be dropped off early so she didn't miss out on this community time. Lunch is also included."
