I have private pay caregivers also, so they are to relieve the other caregivers and to be a backup. The caregivers I have regularly have been very good and nice. The substitutes are also pretty good.

They provided services very quickly when we need it. And they were able to get 24-hour care within a matter of hours, and they were able to provide that care a month. I like that they are reliable, and caring, and they do everything that they're asked.

We use the agency sporadically, so the daily aspect doesn't apply. It was hard for the client to adjust to using the services. It was a rough start with miscommunication. There were also some issues after the first few sessions. Everything has been fine after that.

My mother-in-law is using Visiting Angels mainly for companionship. The caregivers are good and the scheduling is excellent. They've been great.

Visiting Angels is a licensed, home care agency that is locally owned and operated by a Registered Nurse. We provide non-medical care to seniors in their own home and offer seniors and their families choices regarding the kind of care they want to receive. Some of the services available include help with personal care, bathing dressing, meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, errands, and transportation to appointments, medication reminders, respite and companionship. Our client determines the schedule he/she prefers. Visiting Angels matches the caregiver (our "Angels") to your needs. Services can be set up on a weekly schedule or on an as needed basis depending on your needs. Services are available 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week. Areas served include all of York County, Hanover and surrounding areas.
