Caring.Com recommended Home Helpers to assist in caring for my mom. Tamara of Home Helpers came and did an intake of all the information needed. She stated that she would have an aid at our house on Monday or Tuesday at 10:30. This was important since I was leaving for a 2 week period on Friday and wanted to meet the aid and be sure that my mom was comfortable with the person. Monday and Tuesday past and no show or call from Tamara. Finally, 9 days later she left a voice message that she was having problems signing up the aid. However, she initially told me that she had 2 people that could provide the services. At this point, I was already away. Not a reliable company and I would not recommend using them.
