They need better people. It would help her with her overall care. She wouldn't be worried about someone dropping her or something like that. They need to have more quality talent. They need to have better trained individuals that are more experienced.

It's the support the client needs and it's working great. I have asked the client about them, and they have never complained. I haven't had them for a long time, but they have been great since I have had them. I would tell a friend that I am pleased, that nothing is perfect but they've done a good job.

They are very cooperative. The services are pretty much individualize and you can have the services you need with the person that is assigned to you. In my case, she was very willing to do anything that I wanted.

The nurse really lifted my mother-in-laws spirits and would joke around with her. They are very thorough and they follow up. The nurse they sent out was so caring and did things without having to be asked. She always wanted to know if she could do anything else.

Having the billing process through the long term care insurance company takes a lot of administrative work out of my hands. She has a lot of good caregivers so I know she is in good hands. The staff seems very well suited to the type of work they do, and they are patient, compassionate, and reliable. The workers are paid a little more than the going rate.

The coordination of care and follow through on questions needs to improve. The client care coordinator needs to be more in contact, and they need to follow through on things. They need to improve on the scheduling and sending consistent caregivers.

It's always a disruption, because we don't want to have this change, but they are good. I don't have to check up on my mom as much because I know there's someone here who is taking care of her. So far, the people we've had are very good. We've had no problem with them. A few of the caregivers live close by, which hasn't happened in the past.

The most positive thing for me is having help for my husband, who can't get out much, and having people around to help who are kind and caring. When I am leaving my husband for the day, I can leave him with people who I know are kind and caring.

Home Care Assistance needs to get me better help. They are having trouble finding good people. The services could be better if they got better help. The caregivers really vary. Some are great, but others just come in and sit until I ask them to do things.

Home Care Assistance has provided some wonderful caregivers, but I've had some issues with promises being made and not kept. I also struggled somewhat with getting the billing properly documented to be covered by my parents' long term care policy. Home Care Assistance provides supervision and structure for my parents. Having them has lifted the burden of supervising of my father, who needs cognitive supervision, from my mother, which has made life easier for her.

The caregiver was excellent, but Home Care Assistance itself was questionable because of their billing practices and the fact that everything came out of California, not from here. The caregiver from Home Care Assistance did everything. I could not have done it without him.
