We get our caregivers through the VA, without that I don't know what I would do. They know me personally and when I call up I get the needed attention.

I was expecting a higher quality of assistance. The quality of the help is extremely variable, with the average being a 2. One person seems like they are homeless to cause the amount of stuff they bring in the home, some do the minimum, and other people don't help my mom which is very disappointing when I am paying them by the hour. I find that to be very unacceptable. Some people don't have a car when they are supposed to be able to provide transportation.

We had to cancel plans when they didn't show up. They should communicate better. The caregivers could be more reliable, and they should confirm the caregiver is going to be there. They should have back up caregivers and have no last minute changes.

Felicia goes above & beyond while caring for my Mother. She is compassionate and kind. If my Mother is confused or tired Felicia assists her in preparing a nap. My Mom is very comfortable with her. She takes initiative and confidently handles medical appointments and relays medical information back to me quickly. She also makes sure my Mother takes her medications daily and on time. She arrives on time every shift and takes my Mom for drives, grocery shopping & takeout dining all of which Mom enjoys. Most recently, Felicia dealt with an urgent home maintenance issue and got it quickly resolved with Building Maintenance. She also cares for my Moms cat & ensures he has fresh food & a clean litter box every visit. We are delighted to have Felicia caring my mother. Most importantly, my Mother is very happy with Felicia! Shelia takes very good care of my dad when she is there. We didn't have any issues with our caregiver and we have had a good experience so far. Our caregiver from CareWorks Health Services is very responsible, prompt, on time, and communicates well. Buddy comes around periodically and checks in on things and that is a good thing.
