I like the fact that I am able to be cared for as my health issues change day by day. I was talking with some friends about them, and they were very interested in them. They just do everything I need.

In my case I needed immediate help to provide overnight care for my father who was dying of kidney failure. My dad, age 96 was confused and just needed someone by his side every minute. Even though he was under hospice care and living in a memory care, these agencies do not provide one on one care. My son amd I could not be with my Dad 12 hours a day at the end of his life so we turned to Catalina and they had someone out to take the night shift that night. They were professional and reliable. They are a wonderful caring agency.

A friend was dying of pancreatic cancer and, since he had no family to take care of him, I managed his health care. He was adamant about remaining at home. Catalina had good reviews so I secured their services to provide him with in-home support. My friend was the most demanding, impatient man I’ve ever known, especially in his final months. Catalina’s caregivers had their job cut out for them, and they performed admirably. Several of them were outstanding. Over a ten-week period, I worked closely with Erika, Cynthia, and Danielle. They were amazing. My friend made numerous last minute schedule changes, and he was extremely picky about his caregivers. Erika, Cynthia, and Danielle managed each new challenge with patience, understanding, and flexibility. They bent over backwards to accommodate my friend’s needs. I felt like they were my allies during that difficult time. I wholeheartedly recommend Catalina In-Home Services.

Catalina In Home Services cared for my dear mother for many years. They made it possible for her to have a full and comfortable life at home. Being able to trust them took a great loat off my mind. The care givers always arrived on time. They were warm and friendly and kind to my mother. They went out of their way to get to know her and establish a close relationship with her. I always got the feeling that they wanted to be there. At the same time they were professional and efficient and made sure that all her needs were addressed. If something new came up and it was brought to their attention, they responded quickly and appropriately so that the quality of Mom's life was maintained. I noticed that Catalina In Home Services provided support and back-up to their care givers and clients to ensure seamless, responsive and medically appropriate service. When comparing with other companies, I felt that Catalina In Home Services went the extra mile to come up with the best plan for our particular situation. They were the most experienced and their care givers had the best training and were held to the highest standards. It was a blessing to be able to leave Mom in their tender and loving care.

My 89 year-old mother is a current client. Her night caregiver is superb. Her caregiver is thoughtful, highly skilled in geriatric care, and most reliable. I am able to sleep at night knowing that she is caring for my mother. I highly recommend Catalina to any daughter or son who is looking for safe and reliable care for their father or mother.

I had Tina as my care giver for more than three months during my rehabilitation from major surgery. She was very professional and very caring in every way. She was always eager to see that I wouldn't get hurt or do something that I might hurt myself. She was also eager for me to get back to being independent and helped however she could. Staff also was extremely helpful when I needed to change a schedule or had any questions. I was extremely pleased throughout the entire time of my rehabilitation.

I contacted Catalina In-Home Services about care for my mom. They were incredible. They helped me through the process of setting up care in her home, the nurse was amazing and put my mom at ease. The caregivers were a perfect match and have been with my mom for six months. I can't recommend highly enough.

Everything was fine with Catalina In-Home Services. They sent me a caregiver that was a good match. However, I suggest that these caregivers stay awake when they're supposed to stay awake. I would still recommend them.

Catalina is a widely used service in the community. I'm a nurse and I knew of the training of the caregivers received there at Catalina. When my mother did need home care, I knew that that was the agency I want to use. I knew that the caregivers are well trained and very caring and selective with a lot of discretion. They were interviewed and trained well. One of the things I appreciated is the way they assess the client which was my mom. They look into the type of personality that she had and her basic needs. They tend to match up the caregiver that would most meet those needs. It was very hard for my mom to accept care. She was independent and wanted to remain independent. They select the caregivers that allowed my mom to be as independent as possible. They encourage her independence yet they provided concern and safety measure. They were able to provide care at the same time allowing my mom to feel that she was still maintaining her independence. I'm very happy that we have a service like this in the community. There's nothing that compares with Catalina care. I say this because my father had to go to a hospice type of setting. There was no comparison with the Catalina in-home care and hospice. Even though hospice is supposed to be so attentive and caring, they were nowhere near the care that Catalina provided. Catalina has individualized care and support. I didn't have any concerns, cares about the caregivers or about the cost or the service being provided. I was very happy with it.

Their service is fantastic. All the caregivers from Catalina are very kind and attentive, I like that they are very open to suggestions and requests from us. I really appreciate that. The management had been all very easy to deal with. They always address our concerns.

I think they're very responsible about checking in with me about my mother. They tell me if she's not gonna have the person come. They want to make sure that I know. At one time, I wasn't sure if the caregiver was doing what I wanted her to do so I talked to Judy personally. I also talked to the Program Director and she checked with the caregiver and followed up with me. We had a pretty candid conversation about that. We've been using Catalina for 2 years. I am happy with them because we have one woman and she's the only woman that comes in. She's an older woman in her 70's and she had somewhat bonded with my mother. I feel like we had a lot of problems with my mother for the younger caregivers. My mother felt like they were more inclined to have arguments about wanting to do things their way versus her way. I think she's finally come across somebody whom she likes and she doesn't want any other person.

They happen to have the best reputation in Tucson. It's operated hands on by the owner. I know that they have good systems in place and with good caregivers. They provided caregivers for my father who was very elderly. They checked continually on how he was doing. They were always prompt. They're very professional and clean. They're caring and do their job well. They always provided follow up to see if we were satisfied.

I was recuperating at The Forum here in Tucson after surgery and my children looked into several agencies. They liked Catalina based on what they heard. I've been very satisfied with the caregivers. They're very caring, kind and helpful. Coming back after the surgery, I was still not back to normal. I needed help 24/7 because I walked with a walker. They were there for me and helped me with everything that I needed help with. I didn't return home from recuperating at The Forum until early March. So I had caregivers from Catalina since early March. I didn't have them full time originally but I took a fall in the house. I had part time help then from Catalina. When I took a fall, I was alone and my children insisted that I have full time help. I now have somebody 24/7. They're concerned for my welfare and well being. I have peace of mind because they are here with me.

I had heard of Catalina's reputation in Tucson. My brother lived there and he was getting quite ill. I actually had talked to Judy upfront because my brother was sick. She was wonderful and she explained everything about how the services are going to work. I spent sometime in Arizona with my brother and the people that came out to treat him were just incredible. They were so attentive, knowledgeable and so professional and Judy was as well. It was a win-win situation. They were wonderful and so helpful. When I had to go back to California, they kept in touch with me. Everyone did. He was very appreciative and I was totally appreciative. Judy kept in touch with me and it was really an incredible experience for me even though my brother was really ill and he eventually passed away. Honestly I can't say enough about Judy and her company and the people who work for her.

Catalina is excellent for my needs. I'm not helpless by any means but there are things that I cannot do for myself. I get to have help from them 3 times a week. I had a fall and I can't sit in the bath tub and so they assist me with bathing. There's no way I can reach my feet and there's no way I can reach my back. In addition, the caregiver does most of my housekeeping for me. I'm very happy with their service.

We used another agency before and I was not happy with them at all. So I researched a little for other agencies and I found out that Catalina was local. I also found out that Judy was very particular about the people that she hired. Also that she gave a free assessment to have someone come out. So we decided to go with them. We have a couple of our own personnel but then we wanted to have a permanent night person and also a fill in person. They have the most wonderful people. I have had the same person on the night shift for 5 nights a week and sometimes she'd even work 7 nights a week. The lady that she takes care of is over a hundred years old. She doesn't like changes. They have really provided the same people. It's just amazing to see the difference between the agencies. When there has been a problem that the nurse has had to cancel, they have always come through. They have done it just so expertly. I am just so totally amazed with the difference.

I knew Judy and when we had a family medical emergency with my father and we needed somebody on a Sunday, out of the clear blue, she came to mind first. Catalina was actually fabulous. My dad has Alzhiemer's but very highly functioning. He ended up in a hospital not knowing who he was, where he was and they were sending him to my house and I knew we needed 24-hour care for him. He couldn't stand and he couldn't sit. It was tremendously urgent and I called them on a Sunday. Even though it was on a Sunday, they took care of everything. The people that they sent to us were above what we expected. They exceeded our expectations in all aspects. They really saved our lives at that point.

I've been satisfied with the service I've been getting from Catalina. I think the caregivers are alright. I like to be warm and they like to be cool. That's a little bit of a problem but we work it out together. They do provide me good care. They cook my meal. They help me get washed and dressed. I have been using them for a long time.

Almost all of the caregivers they sent us over the course of the last 4 years had been wonderful. My mother's old and so she liked the older women better than the younger ones. But as far as the care that she got, I think it was absolutely excellent from each of them. We're still using them at present but to a much lesser degree. We had to move my mother to an assisted living home. We had one lady from Catalina who became really good friends with mom, she still comes twice a week and 6 hours each day.

My dad's doctor recommended Catalina to us. Generally, their service is good. Most of them are good. There are a couple of caregivers that I would consider excellent. The caregivers were helping my dad with companionship, cooking and bathing. I do most of the shopping. Judith, the owner was excellent. I had a meeting with her and I like her.
