My husband lives in Wesley Heights at Wesley Village. I like where he is. He's been there for 10 years. It's excellent. As he declines, they provide for what he needs. It's like a community. He feels at home there. They're very warm and very caring. I don't have any complaints. He hasn't lost any weight, and there's always an alternative if he doesn't like the food. The rooms are fairly spacious. Everything is very neat. He doesn't go to the recreation, but they provide a lot. He used to lead some of the recreations that they provide. The grounds are lovely. They have a memory unit now that they've opened up and they have independent living units as well. I think that they're a very nice facility. The staff is very nice, very welcoming, and very caring.

Wesley Heights at Wesley Village was very nice and very clean. The staff was excellent. The rooms were very clean, it was excellent living. You'd have to bring your own furniture, but it was very well kept. We saw their menus, and they had quite several different dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The staff answered all my questions, and gave a tour to both my wife and me. While I was taking a tour and discussing the location with the director, my wife was taken to an activity with one of their staff people.

My mother is currently in Crosby Commons at Wesley Village. She has been there for five and a half years now. I would give everything an A-plus there. It's a lovely community. The people are very friendly and willing to help. It's immaculately kept. The rooms for the residents are lovely. The grounds are like a country club, so there's lots of room for the residents to go out for walks, and there are sidewalks, fountains, and gazebos. She's had a very positive experience there. They have lots of daily activities to keep them engaged. They have trips in the community, and they bring in people. There's always something going on. They're not just sitting around. The only negative comment about the place is the food. I find that the food selections are very unhealthy. It's high fat, high cholesterol, and high sodium. And for the people who are living in an assisted living facility, most of them at this stage in their lives probably have diabetes or heart conditions, et cetera, and I just don't find that suitable, and certainly not for my mother, so that's an issue right now. Even though they say in their brochure they can accommodate the dietary restrictions of people, and the reality is they can't. That's why I'm looking elsewhere to someplace that can because it's negatively affecting her health right now. Because maybe they don't have an onsite dietitian in that building or somebody who could plan healthier menus, I'm not happy with the food. They do get their meals, but I'm very disappointed with the quality of the food. The overall experience there has been very positive. I think the value for money is comparable to others, so I think it's very good.

Wesley Heights at Wesley Village is a really great, fantastic place. It's very well staffed, it's very clean, and they have a lot of activities for seniors. They are really awesome. It's assisted living as much as you need it. Like my mother can walk fine, so she doesn't need assistance with that, but they accommodate for whatever your needs are. The staff member who showed me around was very pleasant and thorough. She gave me a whole packet of information. They change up the menu every day. The facility was great. The seniors that are in there can control their own heat in their bathrooms and in their rooms. They can adjust it to how they want it, which is great. They have a nice large courtyard, there's a couple of them, and it's all one level. My mom is getting in there. We're just working on the paperwork and stuff.

Crosby Commons (Wesley Heights - Wesley Village) is my top pick, although it's not a brand-new community. The staff is just amazing, the food is great, and the people are very friendly. They are doing work on the grounds and it looks absolutely amazing when you look out. It's a very active community, and it just seemed that everyone that's living there really liked living there. There are so many activities, it feels like the staff members like working there and they know all the people and call them by their first name. It's very clean and beautiful inside. They were redoing all of the grounds and also the inside.

Crosby Commons (Wesley Heights) was a great place. It's just what I wanted, and I have friends there. I had an excellent meal there. The staff seemed very friendly. They have a lot of activities that I'm interested in doing when I'm there.

I was able to visit Crosby Commons. It was a very nice facility. I like it very much. It seemed charming and small. I thought it was lovely, but my aunt did not like it. The staff are very personable and friendly. The rooms were very much clean, it's very nice. The residents there looked very happy and involved.

I went to this place called Wesley Heights. A lovely woman took around me. I thought it was clean and nice. They took care of the people. I knew people from my father's church who had been there and I had a cousin whose grandmother had been there. I knew they were happy and they absolutely loved the place. It was a good place. However, I did not have the same community sense and it didn't felt like home.

While Visiting here I found it amazing, as to how many activities they had to keep the tenants busy. While I was there, there was a barbershop quartet like group singing. To see the smiles on all the clients faces was priceless! I had the pleasure of pushing a wheel chair bound person to her "apartment". The decor in the halls has such a warm homey feeling to it.
