My mother has been in Spring Village at Stratford for a couple of weeks, but we're good. She's coming home on Monday. It was for memory care. They're very friendly. It's clean. They seem to care. They're all very happy, friendly people. She likes it. The rooms are fine, nothing fancy. I had lunch there and it seemed fine.

Our tour of Spring Village at Stratford was great. The director we met with was very bubbly. She was full of excitement and joy. You could tell she loved what she was doing, and she was very informative. It was a detailed tour. As soon as we walked in, the receptionist was very cordial. I met the chef who was serving some of the residents at the same time, and it was good. And the fact that they had a plate of what's the specials on display is good, too. Their dining area was nice. It's a little smaller than the other two facilities I visited, but they are accommodating fewer residents than the others. We saw a one-bedroom apartment, which was nice. It was beautiful the way they had it set up and everything. And the amount of people they had on staff in terms of RN, LPN, and aides, it was great to know that they were always on call, she said no matter what the reason was, which I thought was cool. Of course, all the residents get that bracelet or necklace sort of an alert if they have any issues or if they fall or something like that. The staff also said that even if their radio is not working as they press it, someone is there within less than five minutes. She said every call is an emergency, so I thought that was interesting that even if it's nothing serious, they still would show up in a timely manner. Their concern for the patients is amazing.

I chose Spring Village at Stratford for my aunt because of the price and the quality of service. They have a lot of staff, and they all care. They all speak and read English and they are all credentialed and know what they're doing. My aunt loves the food there. They have activities all day long, non-stop. The building is beautiful, homey, and it is a nice place. They have a salon. My aunt can't believe the room that she has. She really thinks it's great.

My mother moved into Spring Village at Stratford. I chose it because of its proximity to where I live and they had great reviews. I found it to be a very welcoming community. I loved the director and I had a great impression when I went on the tour. I liked the fact that it also included care. The apartments are small, but it's a good enough size. It's a perfect size for what we were looking for. The studio is a little smaller, but the one-bedroom is nice. Everything's clean, neat, and tidy. They have all the bars in the bathroom, and there's enough space for a wheelchair. It's set up nicely. Everyone I've met has been just wonderful and very nice. They seem to really like working there and care about the residents from what I could see so far. The food looked good, but I wasn't able to try it. There is a chef that prepares the different meals. They also have any time meals if you don't like what they're making. They have amenities and activities. It's not over the top, but I think it's good. There's a concert today at 3:30, they play different games, they do different crafts and painting, they play bingo, and they have movies. It's a nice mix of activities. They've just been wonderful with this transition. The building is beautiful. After comparing quite a few places, I think you get a good value here for your money because of everything that they provide.

We looked at Spring Village at Stratford. It's located near the Oronoque shopping center. The place was nice and looked professionally run. The rooms were smaller than the other ones we toured, and that was a bit of an issue. The person who helped us was a marketing person rather than somebody who cared for or interacted with the residents, but she was very friendly and very knowledgeable. It was very nice to work with her. The staff members that we saw in the hallways were all very friendly so that was encouraging. There's nothing wrong with the place at all, it just wasn't quite as nice as the other. I thought the food was fine, my sister was a little bit disappointed, but I thought the food was good. I know they're working on the rooms, they're kind of new. I would suggest they have more variety of activities to encourage more participation from the residents.

In looking for a home for my sister who needs memory care, my son and I interviewed eleven facilities in four states in the Northeast. We visited the six that seemed most promising. The first visit was to Spring Village in Stratford, and we walked away saying that they had set a very high bar for our other visits. The staff was so welcoming and clearly competent, kind, and informative. We had the sense that they loved their work and were very proud of the home. They were genuinely interested in hearing about my sister and talking about how they might personalize her care and treatment. They were also committed to helping us, the family members, through what was a difficult time for us all. We were most impressed with the facilities and the activities available in memory care. There are music therapy classes and art therapy classes, exercise classes -- in addition to lovely enclosed gardens and living room, TV room, and spacious hallways for walking. The rooms were sunny and open, very good size with spacious walk in closets. After visiting other homes, we both said that it was clear what decision we wanted to make. Spring Village was the one. My sister has lived there for two months now, and we have been most pleased with the personal, friendly, and warm relationships she is developing with the staff. The activities and resources available to her are varied and appealing. We feel like she has truly found a home, one in which we all enjoy visiting her.

We saw Spring Village at Stratford assisted living and they're very friendly and very nice. We saw the dining room, the activities room, and the chapel. They have different floors with the rooms. They had a little nook area and we saw their beauty parlor, their billiard table, and things like that. They're very clean. The rooms were a little smaller than the ones at the other facility we saw, but it was very nice. They had an activities room and we saw a bingo game, they had card tables, a library, and a piano.

I went to the Spring Village at Stratford. There was nothing wrong about it, but it wasn't as expansive, it wasn't as modern, and it just wasn't as welcoming as the other places I visited. It's kind of a little smaller courtyard area, the rooms were a little bit tighter, and it just didn't jump out or seem to be the place like the other ones did.

We went to visit Spring Village at Stratford which was nice. It's not as well-presented as the other place we saw, but my mother-in-law likes this place because it's cheaper. They don't have a pool, but we saw pretty much everything. There's a movie theater/chapel where they have service every Sunday. They have an activity room where they can do some activities. My mom-in-law really likes this place but my husband thinks it's a little dated. But the people are nice and they seem to have a lot of nice activities that my mother-in-law likes.

Spring Village at Stratford was a pretty nice and a well-maintained community. It's multiple floors and a little bit bigger, but it's good. The staff was very professional and good too. It's close to the Merritt Parkway in Stratford, so it's convenient to the highway. The rooms looked nice, but the only complaint I had was they were shared rooms. There's only one bathroom for two residents, and most of the shared rooms don't have bedroom doors for each resident, so there's less privacy in there.

I visited Spring Village at Stratford for my aunt. They were very nice and very friendly. The place was very adequate, very spacious, very clean, and very nice. I'm very impressed with the rooms. They had nice courtyards in every level and every level walked out into the yard. The back of the building was a hill, so in every level, you're able to walk outdoors to a courtyard. It's very nice. There was a lot of access to the outdoors. They're very safe because they said they haven't had a Covid situation since last April. They're very, very careful about their Covid-related issues. It was pretty quiet. I guess when we went there, they were in quarantine, and we didn't see a lot of people walking around the hallways.

Spring Village at Stratford was my sister's choice because she wanted to live in the area. The people there are very caring and they are very attentive. My sister's family is very comfortable there. They're very careful, especially with the COVID situation, and I appreciate knowing that my sister is safe. The staff is very attentive and polite. My sister's place is very clean and she said she's being spoiled, so I know she's being taken good care of. I feel comfortable about the staff. She's in a temporary room right now, it's a little apartment. It's very adequate, it has everything she needs. It has a kitchenette, a living room, and a bedroom with a bathroom. It's a decent size. I'm not quite certain of the activities because I don't know what my sister has taken advantage of yet. She doesn't rave about the food, but it's adequate. I've had some food there and I enjoyed it very much. Just one meal though. It is expensive, but judging from how other places are, I think it's pretty good.

My Mother is there now. We are Blessed to have such a Great bunch of caring people tend to her during this difficult pandemic. How can we give any person of service, less than Five stars, if they offer up their own life. That is Indeed Profound. Thank-You To all Staff of Spring Village! have a great Safe Holiday Season. God Bless America! Teresa and Ben
