My wife moved into New Hope Valley last month. I was very comfortable with everybody that I talked to over there when we were searching. And the price was reasonable too. The room is fine. The staff is very accommodating and efficient. She's in memory care, so everything is locked down, and she just has a small room, but it's plenty for her needs. They furnish a bed, dresser, and TV, and we bought a loveseat to put in there so she'd have additional seating. But she sleeps a lot and she does that in the chair. So we figured that would be better than a chair. They have quite a few different activities, but my wife doesn't participate. Every time I go there, they've got some kind of a group discussion going on with something and things like that. They go down, they do exercises and they call it the sunroom. It's just a room that has a lot of windows in it and they do exercises and activities down there. My daughter was in there one day and they were kicking a ball and she got into it, but she was kicking so hard we were afraid she was going to knock somebody over. I'm very satisfied with the treatment she gets there and the facility and everything.

New Hope Valley was fine. It was just more of a clinical setting, rather than a home setting. It was cold. Nothing was carpeted. My mother had her own private room with a bathroom. They took very good care of her, but she didn't get the personal hygiene care that she needed. I think that was because their help was really low, and they had to hire new people. Mom has been in memory care for almost two years and was in assisted living for five years prior to that. New Hope Valley has been the perfect home for her. She is thoughtfully and deligently cared for. All of the employees and I mean ALL employees are focused on keeping residents safe, healthy and happy. It is a true community not just a facility.

My grandma was a resident at this community until she passed in March. She went from being at home very depressed after my grandpa died to partaking in activities and getting her spunk back after moving to New Hope Valley. We are so thankful for their amazing care and compassion. Every time I visited I was always welcomed with a smile. I have been so impressed with New Hope Valley Retirement Community. My parents have lived there since June 2019. The staff continues to impress me with their care and concern for my parents. My mother has Parkinson’s and her mobility is not so good. The staff is always available to help her. Additionally, my mother is prone to falling and I am always notified immediately. I have eaten at the facility many times and have found the food to be very enjoyable. There is always different options...

I'm living in New Hope Valley. I'm very happy with it. They have good corned beef sandwiches and hamburgers; they have some very good food here. I would rate them very high on amenities. You have to bring in your own towels, but they do provide toilet paper, and they have a person come in daily that vacuums. They also have some activities. I got the biggest room, too.

My mother moved into New Hope Valley and it's very pleasant there. My mother wants to go home, but she likes it there for the most part. The food is pretty good, and they have lots of activities. Although my father was a resident for only a short time earlier this year, my family and I were extremely impressed by all of the staff, quality of the facilities, and the overall care. Each care provider made it a priority to connect with my father and ensure he was comfortable. Dori was especially helpful to us and she is a true asset to the facility.

All the staff we encountered were caring, friendly, helpful and competent. It seems like a good place to work (which helps make it a good place to live). Attractive facility. Very good food! We were able to visit New Hope Valley, and the place was nice as well. It was a little cheaper that the one we chose, but their rooms are smaller that the other community. They do have activities, but my mom does not participate in them. They provide refrigerator, phone expense, and a TV.

Everything has been really good at New Hope Valley, so far. They have a variety of different rooms. My mother is in a one-bedroom. The dining room is more restaurant-style. They have a lot of exercise options and games that they play.

New Hope Valley Assisted Living was smaller than what my mother has now. The staff was very nice. They had the same type of system where they keep the medicine locked. They order all the medicine and dispense it. The rooms were very clean. They came furnished.

We also visited New Hope and they didn’t have any availability at that time. The staff seemed to be fine although not as friendly as the other facility we've visited. I saw their room and the closet area was really small. The dining room was practically everything, but it wasn’t really fancy.

When we had to move mom into a new assisted living facility, I automatically knew where I wanted her to go. After visiting and touring the site, talking to staff members, it only reaffirmed our family decision to move her to New Hope Valley. We haven't been dissapointed a tiny bit. The entire staff is so warm and welcoming and are up to snuff on my moms present condition and situation and knowing she is safe at night, helps me sleep at night. Thank you Hope Valley Staff! I wanted to express my heartfelt thanks for making my bridge party such a wonderful success! It was perfect in every way. Everyone on your staff contributed and also deserve recognition. From Dan and his kitchen crew to the girls that spruced up my room. They all worked very hard. The menu and food were great! As a daughter of a resident, I am extremely pleased with the care of my mother. The caring staff have gone beyond our expectation to help care for my mother as she experiences the last stages of Alzheimer. Many have come in on their days off to ask about my mom. New Hope is the most accommodating, caring and supported assisted living/memory care facility.
