My mom has moved into Primrose Retirement Community of Casper. They have a pretty friendly staff. Her meals are cooked for her and they do her laundry. They pretty much take everything for her, which is nice. They've got a hairdresser, right there just down the hall from her, where she got her manicure and her hair. They've got lots of activities that she does, like bingo. And then they go to a room and the therapist gives them exercise. They have kind of home health care people coming in and working with her, exercising her brain and her body. The staff has been great. They've been very helpful. The food has been good. It's really expensive, but they take care of her very well.

The tour at Primrose Retirement Community of Casper was very good. The Director took us on a tour. The residents there were very friendly, and they talked to us as we went around for a tour. They had a couple of different options for assisted living or independent living apartments. We looked at the menu and the calendar for their activities and that sort of stuff. We didn't eat there. There were residents playing pool, playing cards, and different things like that. Their rooms were very nice. They were more like an apartment. The assisted living rooms didn't have full kitchens. They had a refrigerator and a microwave. The independent living was like a full apartment. The atmosphere was very pleasant. The people seemed to be out walking around and doing more things. It seemed more of a friendly atmosphere.

Primrose is top notch and I was surprised about the pricing! I figured that it would much pricier to live here, than other places around Casper but it is not! It'd actually cheaper in some cases like the Independent Living apartments!

Primrose is gorgeous, and they have everything. They have all kinds of activities, and they do bus tours for the people. There are all kinds of things for people right there, or they go somewhere else for field trips. The dining area was beautiful.

I chose Primrose Retirement Community because my mother lives in Casper. She's been there for five years. The independent living is shaped like a U. They have two floors, and both floors are independent, then you cross a hallway to the assisted living, and there are two floors for assisted living. They have villas for seniors who want to live independently but still want the convenience of living in a retirement community. She's independent and she has a 2-bedroom apartment. There are two bedrooms, two baths, a living room and dining room with kitchen. They provide lunch for everybody as part of their amenities. The only thing I can say that is not up to par with Primrose would be their food. Everything else is pretty good. They have all kinds of different things for them. They keep that place very clean. They keep the walls painted. I would suggest that we have a chef in there instead of just cooks and be able to cook with herbs instead of bland food, give them nice, safe portions if they need it. Also have them be able to go down and eat during certain hours instead of just everybody eating at the same time.
