Castle Homes in West Allis is one of several from their agency. The building is a ranch style home with four large bedrooms; each is shared by 2 people. It is a very "homey" feeling. It has a normal kitchen and living room and great room. The home provide 3 well balance meals a day, assists with the residents activities of daily living, their laundry, exercise programs and other actives of interest to the particular resident such as card playing, gardening etc. The home I toured even had a small dog running around that the residents seemed to love and also a bird that got their attention. The residents that I spoke to seemed happy and said they liked living there because it did seem like home. The residents when they came in could bring their own single bed and dresser and a favorite chair. There were 2 TV's because "the men want sports and the women want something else." The Castle Home in West Allis seemed to be a pleasant place for someone who can no longer be in their own home.
