check this place out. My mom moved in about 4 weeks ago unable to get around. Her knees are pretty shot. Megan the PT advisor got her into therapy. After only a little over a week, mom is getting out of her electric chair on her own without pressing her button for assistance. She gets into her walker and goes to the bathroom on her own. She's also walking around the halls by herself and participating in all the scheduled activities. Great job by the entire staff including the 2 directors; Liz & Sherrie. Thank you Heritage for making my mom happy again. xxoo

We toured Heritage West Allis. It's a newer building. The building was five stars. It was beautiful. The hallways were wider. It's a brighter area. It's all new carpeting and new paint. It was a much nicer building. The staff was very nice. We wanted him to go there but they couldn't handle his level of care. They did assist but he needed two people or a Hoyer lift. They only take people who can take up to one person's assistance. He was beyond their skill level or their care level.

When we walked into Heritage West Allis it felt like a funeral home. It was very plain, drab furnishings, nothing fancy or welcoming, and a cold feeling. The staff was nice and pleasant. The amenities were OK.

I have a family member that lives in Heritage West Allis. The thing that I'm liking the best about the place is that they seem to be very responsive about concerns. When I express a concern, I can see that action is taken to address that. I don't know very much about the activities as getting her to participate more in activities is kind of a long-term goal for us now. She's just getting adjusted to the community and being content there and well cared for, but we attended a concert and that was excellent, as well as the morning exercise. One of the first things that attracted me to Heritage West Allis was how homey and beautiful it was. I have toured a lot of memory care communities, and many of them kind of felt like an institution to me, this one doesn't. It's beautiful. The staff is pretty wonderful, but like anywhere else or any other job, there are people who are fabulous at their job and people who are just OK. I see a mix over there, but overall, they're very caring and dedicated to the residents. One thing they could improve on is to be faster, quicker, and more consistent in implementing the care plan for new residents. They might just be getting used to the new person, but that doesn't take away from the fact that the person who's there needs those care as fast as possible.

I like Heritage West Allis. One of the apartments that I looked at was a one-bedroom, which is kind of small for me. There was a two-bedroom apartment with two baths, which I liked because the bedrooms were on either side of the living room. The one bathroom had a walk-in shower. They give each apartment one underground parking spot at no extra charge. The staff was very informative. She showed me the garage, storage areas, and a small workout area. When she saw the residents, she called them by name. They offer 20 meals a month for independent living. They have laundry facilities in your apartment.

Heritage West Allis was my favorite. I felt that they had attention to detail. They had just remodeled, repainted, and carpeted everything in the memory care. So, everything was fresh and new. The tour guide was awesome. She answered every question we had and maybe even went above and beyond and told us more than we even asked about.

My family recently had mom move into the memory care with her new dementia diagnosis. From the 1st day she arrived, they introduced her to people and got her involved in the activities right away! (She loves bingo for prizes.) She has also been enjoying the from scratch cooked meals and is eating better now that she has the chance to go to the community dining room and can also socialize too. The memory care community is a smaller scale community on one floor which makes it easier for my mom to navigate between doing activities, going to the dining room and back to her cute little apartment. Since my mom's back was bothering her with sore muscles from her being overly being enthusiastic with her new exercising routine, they gave her a spa bubble bath in a walk in tub to help soak and loosen up her sore muscles. I wish we had moved her here sooner!

My mother-in-law was at Heritage West Allis for a while. She was in their memory care. I like the fact that they had the residents interact with other people that were there and that they had a lot of activities. Her room was nice and she liked it. The food was good too. Everybody I ever met seemed caring and she liked it there also. They had bingo and they had this activity where everybody would talk about what was going on in the news that day, talk about all the different things and people, and the staff would even go to each person to try to get them to interact. I thought that was very helpful.

The layout of Heritage West Allis was pretty good. It seemed a little cramped, but it was pretty decent. The hallways were pretty wide and wheelchair accessible. The first level was basically for people in wheelchairs. It didn't have elevators. Everything was good. I didn't get a chance to interact with the staff as much, but the person who gave me the tour was super nice. The dining hall was nice. The upkeep from what I saw was pretty good. They had a beauty salon to get their hair done.

Heritage West Allis is a nice, brand-new facility. With COVID, they don't have all their normal activities, and some of the amenities are not available to the residents right now. The apartments are roomy, pretty large, and looked comfortable. They have a nice layout, they are cozy and warm, and the pricing is a great value for the money. My sister-in-law actually lived there, so the tour was not done by anybody in their staff. She moved there, so they let me come in and take a look at her apartment, and it was probably one of the largest units in the facility. Overall, I have a very positive feeling about it. I would seriously consider my dad living there.

The staff at Heritage West Allis was very friendly. They're having a little trouble because they're in transition of a new manager, since the one manager moved out of state. They have other managers coming from their other sites around town to fill in as management right now. So that's a little awkward, but they're getting the job done. We asked about the menu, and that's one of the questions that she going to get back to us about. As far as I could see, everything was very clean. It's a very nice layout. That's pretty much why we're choosing this facility; the layout was wonderful. The rental price is really great, and it's a newer building. My mother will have a little balcony. The room has got granite kitchen and stainless steel appliances, and nice size bathroom. It's a very nice size apartment with a large bedroom, kitchen, living room, bathroom, and nice sized closets. It's so very nice. All the hallways were clean, and elevators were working. The reception staff was very nice. Every time I would call, they really were so friendly and helpful. They would say "wait, let me try to find her for you," and they really tried to help. They're just are having trouble because they really haven't hired a new manager yet. The rest of the staff was really wonderful.

My mother will be going to Heritage West Allis. We chose them because of the cost and the location, and also the facility was nice and clean, so it seemed to be a good fit. The only person I've dealt with was the manager, who got the place set up, and he was helpful. The facility was adequate and very clean.

We picked Heritage Senior Living for my in-laws because a friend had her mother in there. The place is very nice and clean. The staff is helpful. The room is very clean, spacious, and very nice. I'm pleased with it. My in-laws are satisfied with the food. I had gone to a Mother's Day lunch with my mother-in-law, and it was very nice. She is not going activities per se like crafts, but she will do luncheon provided I was there. My in-laws have been here for about a month now. I'm very pleased with the staff members. Activities are available but my in-laws choose for the most part not to participate unless I take and mingle with them.

My wife is in Heritage Senior Living West Allis, but she's in physical therapy now because she had a fall there. She laid around for a few hours and they didn't respond to her even though she was pressing her pendant. They claimed that her pendant battery was low, which I don't buy. She wasn't there long enough to have a low battery. The only reason they came after she laid on the floor for multiple hours was to see if she wanted supper. Another upsetting thing was we still have to pay the full charge even if she is not there for the whole month. The staff is very good and friendly. She likes the food in there. It's fairly new, the appearance is great, they have granite countertops, and it's well maintained. They have a lot of activities, including a group exercise class every morning. They have a beauty salon and a walk-in Jacuzzi tub. They're just more overpriced than we expected.

We toured Heritage Senior Living West Allis and spoke with the person who handles obtaining people. People were walking around. It looked very nice. They had a busy schedule. They didn't have outdoor activities or facilities, but the grounds were very nice and well cared for. While we were there, there was a mother duck with her ducklings walking around. They had a big circle drive, and in the center was a fountain. The staff we talked with was very cordial, very informative, and patient. It's very clean and looks relatively new, very pleasant, and attractive.

Heritage Senior Living was a farther distance, but they had a nice common area, and the rooms were pretty nice. We got to visit a lady and saw her apartment and how she did it up. They seemed very friendly. It had a library and a common area. Actually someone was there working with the seniors, which was kind of cool.

Heritage West Allis was very nice, very inviting, nicely decorated, and clean. The location is handy. It’s on a street where there’s a lot of other things like grocery and shopping. It offered transportation for seniors. I just looked at apartments in the assisted living, and they have 1-bedroom and 2-bedrooms. It is well-maintained, and the carpeting was nice.

My grandmother stayed at the Heritage in West Allis before. They had really good activities. The building seems like a hotel. There was a big fireplace in the middle of the room, it was really nice. It's a big area too; I think it was about 800 sq. ft., which was pretty good for a single, old lady. She loved it. She just wanted to move to California. I think the staff was really cool. I liked them a lot. The best thing about it for me was the main lady that worked there; she was really down to earth and very easy to talk to. She can relate to me pretty well.

The Heritage is close by. It's in the neighborhood that my father is familiar with. It's a very attractive place. The people are all very nice, the staff is very caring, and everyone is so friendly. My dad is very pleased and happy there. They have regular exercise classes, movies, ice-cream socials, cocktails, and everything. Family members are always invited to attend these activities as well to come for a quarterly meeting and open forum with all the staff. They're very open to inquiry and I'm very impressed with that too.
