We like Hyland Campus very much and had put our names on the waiting list. You can start out in the independent living, and if you want to switch to assisted living you don't have to move. You can stay in your independent apartment and they will just charge you an extra fee for assisted living. We really like that idea. The facility was very beautiful and well kept. They offer many activities and shuttles that go where you need to go. The only thing we didn't like was you have to pay extra for underground parking, but I guess that's just typical. They provide all the appliances like the refrigerator and stove, including laundry equipment. They also repaint everything and put in new carpeting when you move in. The staff is very knowledgeable. Hyland Campus is the most reasonably priced among all the places we visited.

Hyland Campus Assisted Living is very nice, and the people there are very nice. We were really thinking seriously about moving there, but we don't really need it right now. We were looking at their two-bedrooms; they had small kitchens, and they're very nice. The staff who accommodated me was very nice. They had lots of activities, like card games and bingo. We didn't eat there, but we looked at the menu, and it was very good.

Hyland Campus was very big and it has three levels. My mom has mobility issues, so walking from one side of the campus facility to the other is a lot, especially at dinnertime. You could be pretty far from the dining room in this place. They make an effort to get interest from the seniors there so they stay engaged. They have a huge dining room, but the place is very quaint. The staff and the cleaning ladies were very friendly. Some of the rooms were very spacious.

Hyland Park of Sun Prairie is what we wanted in terms of location, and everything we wanted is here. My wife has been staying there for about eight months now. Everything is just about what we wanted. The rooms are nice and up-to-date. They have almost everything every day. They have a bus that takes you on shopping. They have chair exercises and walking. The big thing is it is handy; in other words, it has just what you need. As far as the information whenever you want to go somewhere or something, it's all set. They could probably improve mostly on the food.
