Milton Senior Living is very inviting and very clean. The staff is wonderful. The executive director and all of the main people go over and above. They are fabulous. I can't find one thing wrong with that place. I've known about it because I've lived in Milton for a long time. I had told my mother a few years ago when the time came, I really hoped she would like to be there, and she did immediately. She saw her apartment and said, "I'll take it." Her room has two large windows, one in her living room, and one in her bedroom. For the size of the apartment, it is so well designed with a lot of cupboard space and spaces to put things, and two good sized closets. She gets three square meals a day. She said the food is fabulous. So far, there has not been one thing she has not liked. They have activities, and everybody wears a mask, and they are spaced as they should be. They have exercise classes, and they go down into the community room. They give them a calendar every month telling them what is gonna be happening and what their menu is going to be, so they can pick and choose. She can do her own laundry there. I took her back to her house to pick up a few more things and they came out with an actual shopping cart to put her things in and take them in for her. I'm not allowed in right now due to the virus, so they came right out and they helped her. They're at your beck and call. Right now, they are taking their temperatures every day, and every day at around 10:00 they knock on her door just to make sure she's OK. I couldn't ask for a better place for her. It's cozy with different sitting rooms. It's wonderful there. My mother said the staff is nice. She hasn't complained about anything. I like the cleanliness of it. They celebrate holidays, and they're so festive. They're topnotch. They clean her apartments for her once a week.

Milton Senior Living was friendly, clean, and nice, but it was spread out pretty far. I only met one staff, and she was very nice, friendly, and very knowledgeable. She had a lot of information. The place looked very nice, but the halls were narrow. The apartments themselves were beautiful, but they're a long way away from the amenities. We were looking at it because my sister used to live in Madison and the families lives in Janesville, so it was kind of in between for her friends in Madison and for the family in Janesville. The rooms were a nice size. They were set up very nice with plenty of space and nice, big bathrooms. They had some nice outdoor seating. At the time we were there, there was bingo going on in the activity center, and that's really all that we saw as far as amenities go.

We went to Milton Senior Living. It was very good, they were very informative, and it's a very nice place. I've heard good things about it. The person who gave us the tour was very informative; she knew what she was talking about. The place was clean, it was well laid out, I felt very comfortable with it, and I'm sure my wife would, too.

Milton Senior Living was a very nice place, and I probably wouldn't mind living in there. The lady we talked to was really good and very nice. Everything looked nice and clean, and I see no problems. It's a new building, so it's all nice and modern. I think it's a good place.

Milton Senior Living was gorgeous. Unfortunately, my mom could not go there because she's considered a flight risk, and they don't have the staff to handle an activated Power of Attorney (POA). In other words, that means there aren't any locks on the doors or there are locks on the door, but you can't get out unless somebody lets you out. The staff was excellent. The activities were about the same, and the rooms had their own toilet and shower, which was a good thing, but Mom can't stay there. I liked their landscape, the rooms, and the dining area.

I had a sister who was at Milton Senior Living. She wanted to take so many of her own things, so it was very crowded, and she did not even take her bedroom set because she slept in a chair. So, I did not see an actual unit like it should be. She was not happy with the diet, but that was more of a personal preference. It was quite a large senior community in a small actual city community -- Milton is not a large city in itself. The staff would come in at times when we were visiting, and they all seemed to be very helpful. It was not the cleanest, and I don't know what their regulations were as far as cleaning the apartments for the people because they were in charge of the cleaning, so it wasn't up to the person living there to clean it. She had too much furniture in it, so it was crowded, but that was what she wanted.

We were looking at the Milton Senior Living, and that was a beautiful place. We had a tour of it, and the lady that did it was very helpful. Everybody looked happy, and it was a homey atmosphere. The rooms were big and roomy, and that was very nice. My mom was thinking about going there, but she is not ready. The dining room was beautiful. It was very nice; we had a nice room if you wanted to have family in, you have a private rooms for them. They had games, exercise rooms, arts and crafts, and trips a couple of times a month. The safety was great, there were no stairs, and they had walk-in showers.

Milton Senior Living has the most caring staff I have seen. Every need was seen to almost immediately. Staff took the time to visit with residents and really get to know them. This way, the staff could see when a resident was a "little off" or had changes in behavior or health. I would highly recommend Milton Senior Living to anyone needing an assisted living facility.

Newer facility in small town; on quiet street in residential area. Very clean with mostly nice, responsive staff. Many staff members have worked there for years, which in this industry speaks highly of the place. Not a lot of extra amenities, but residents seem happy and well-cared for. No garages for those who still drive, which is a problem in the winter months. Staffing seems adequate during the day but suffers at night; residents often have to wait extended times for help with toileting, etc, during night shift. Dining could be better--no real choice of entree, but kitchen staff will sometime make a sandwich or something else that's easy to prepare if resident doesn't like what is offered. No RN or LPN on duty--they call someone in if necessary, but wait times to be seen can be long. In all not an "upscale" place, but comfortable and relatively affordable. Management is hands-on (locally owned and operated) and usually responsive.
