I like that Country Villa Assisted Living-Little Chute has big rooms and that there is no carpet in the hallway. It's all wood floors. It's very bright and it has outside seating. It's nicely staffed. They have 1 staff member for every 5 residents. They are always there for them. My mother-in-law has a call button with her all the time so when she needs assistance, she presses that button and they come in quickly. She loves the food, too. They have dessert options. There's occupational therapy and physical therapy. The facility is laid on the bank of the river and it's a new place. The maintenance guys are doing a good job with the upkeep, but the staff inside sometimes neglect to clean their spots on the carpet. It's a big amount of money, but we are getting pretty good service for the amount of money my mother-in-law pays for it.

Would not recommend Country Villa, especially for a dementia patient. No way to reach out for help. Absolutely no communication with the outside world, especially if hard of hearing, was told by my relative, not their job to help with hearing aides, he never has them in. He is never checked on any time I ever visited. Staff won’t respond calling to check if he’s ok. Administration is subpar and absolutely rude.

I visited Country Villa Assisted Living-Little Chute. They were awful to work with. I would discourage anyone from dealing with them. They don't follow through with doing the necessary medical details. They're counterproductive for your loved ones and it was a very difficult time in my life for somebody to behave the way they did. It was a nurse who gave the tour and she was dishonest and unprofessional. The room was a just regular run of the mill. They need training in ethics, professionalism, follow-through, supervision, and coordination. I saw the lobby, the meeting rooms, and the residents' rooms. It wasn't fancy-schmancy like the other place, but they were acceptable. They seemed clean enough and good enough.
very very very upset

Beautiful facility but my mother had a horrible experience with treatment from employees and not receiving a life altering medication that was ordered for days.

I toured Country Villa Assisted Living. It's very homey. They're very nice. The people are all nice there. They're really helpful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The dining area was very nice. You can order off the menu. The rooms are very spacious with separate bedrooms. They're very homey. They're private rooms. It's very well kept and maintained. They have Wi-Fi, electricity, and heat. They have a movie room, a salon room, and a gathering room that you can rent.
