From the time we brought mom to view the facility and stay there, mom has always praised the staff on how helpful they are and how clean they keep the facility. Our family has also commented several times on how clean the facility is. As mom has progressed with her dementia, I can't thank all the staff enough for all the care, understanding, and compassion they show every resident there. The staff is so wonderful at making sure that our family concerns or questions are answered, and they are always very supportive in guiding us to get any additional care that would be helpful for our mother. I can't thank everyone at Our House enough for all their support they have given me and our family to go through this journey our mother.

Janesville was a pleasant and nice facility. The grounds and the people appear to be very nice. A couple of daughters came to visit their mother and they're very enthusiastic about the place. They have a garden, a fireplace, and a crafts person. They seemed to have the people involved that wanted to be involved. They were mostly all ladies there when I visited.

We had a really good experience at Our House, Janesville Memory Care and are really happy with the care my dad is receiving. He actually gained some weight and really likes the people who take care of him. I feel like we’re really involved as far as decisions being made. The food is good, and he likes listening to the music they’re playing. Sometimes, they have special activities around the holidays. I would like better communication as far as activities for families to be involved in.

Our House - Janesville Memory Care was a nice facility, but the rooms did not have a bathroom, so you had to share toilet facilities. It was laid out nicely, but I did not like not having a private toilet. If Mom wanted to fix her hair up in the morning, she'd have to go to a community bathroom to do that. It looked like a big house that used to be for a single family, then converted it into 16 different bedrooms. The property was clean. The grounds were nice. I did not go into the building; again not having a private toilet was the issue.
