We could not be more pleased with the safety measures put in place during Covid. We are so very grateful for the management and staff for their commitment to keeping the residents safe. In such scary times, it was a weight off our shoulders to not have to stress about our loved one getting the best care.

New Perspective | Howard was absolutely beautiful. When I drove up to that, it felt like a resort. It did not feel like a nursing home/assisted living facility at all. It was gorgeous. The rooms were beautiful. Absolutely. Everything was so clean. I'd like to live there myself. I ran into so many residents there and they were so happy. I'm a musician and they were eating in the dining room and there was a piano in there so I sat down and played a little song at the piano. They were like, "Oh, we would love to meet your mom and we would love to have you play Cocktail Hour here." The lady that gave the tour was so warm, friendly, and made me feel so safe to put my mother there. The place was full of people and full of family. During the tour, the residents came up and talked with us and I got introduced to people. It was just really nice. When I was leaving, there were families that were using the pool and out on the grounds. They were walking on the trails and enjoying where their mother or grandmother was living. They were so friendly and helpful and so happy to be there. If I were going to put my mom somewhere, that would be the place I would want her to be.

We are on the waiting list for New Perspective Howard. It was very pleasing. It did not have a pool, but it had a wooded area. It had a nice path that lent itself to walking. I had very little interaction with the staff because I was there on a tour with somebody that was showing me the facility. The rooms were very adequate and very pleasant.

The independent and assisted living of New Perspective Howard is both in the same area. It has memory care too. My mom has Alzheimer's, it's not progressed to the point where she requires memory care but we wanted her to be in the same place that offers these levels of care. She might go into independent living right off the bat, but she'll probably need assisted living too within a fairly short period of time. It was the only place I was impressed with. The other places were okay but that place was exceptionally nice. The room I saw was nice. It was kind of a little more luxurious too than the other places. The rooms were a little bit smaller than the other place that we looked at, but it made up for it. The staff who assisted me was nice, very helpful, and very informative. We took 3 tours of the place and we had lunch there as well. The dining area was very nice, very much like a restaurant and not as much as a cafeteria. The food was good quality too. The people that were there seemed to be happy and they were doing things. They were active in the community. They were playing cards, games, reading books, and there were lots of activities to pick from. We didn't go on any of those because we were on the tour but there were plenty of things that they do like watch movies, exercise classes, they had an exercise room, and a swimming pool. There was lots of availability to do things and meet people as well. There was nothing that I saw that bothered me. The worst thing I could say about them is the room was a little smaller, but to be honest, it wasn't that big of a deal.

I visited New Perspective in Green Bay. It was nice and it's got all levels of care. They provide meals, they have a bathing area, and there really isn't much space for a patio. The apartments were like your average apartment. The visitations are on hold now because of COVID.

My mother moved into the memory care unit of New Perspective Senior Living last year. She was in the independent living part for three years. She has her own room and it's quite large, she has her own bathroom, it has windows, she has a dresser, an easy chair, another chair, a bed, and a TV. There have been no activities, and she got her first vaccine there last week. I guess the food is fine; she seems to think it's OK.

New Perspective Howard was very nice and very expensive. The staff who did the tour was excellent and very attentive. The room was very nice, but the kitchen was a little too big for independent living for my mother. She doesn't need that big of a kitchen. It would've been nice to have a little bit bigger living space and not much of the kitchen. There's no room in the kitchen area for a small table even. The counters were huge and there's an island in the middle of it which was nice, but we felt it was just big for independent living when there's just gonna be one or two people. Otherwise, it was great. Because of Covid, we didn't try the food, but they were going to get a hold of my mother and send out a fish dinner. I don't know if they've done that yet. We saw the pool, the hair salon, and the workout place. My mother liked that there's a washer and dryer in the unit, which is one of her requirements. I did not like that given the cost of living there monthly, which is relatively high for independent living, that she also has to pay for an underground garage which was super high as well.

My uncle recently moved into NP. The staff is warm, kind and caring but his apartment was filthy. The carpet was old and staine and smelled.. We had to scour the bathroom from top to bottom and are currently checking into how we can hire them to change the carpeting so that his allergies do not bother him from the animal dander left behind from cats owned by the former tenant. First impressions are the most important. Please do not make the same mistake we made by assuming your loved one will be welcomed with professionally cleaned carpet and freshly painted walls.

New Perspective is gorgeous. They have a woodworking shop, and you can do gardening. You can do almost do anything you can think of doing there. However, it is not on top of our list because the price point is quite high. It is almost $1,500 a month more than any of the other places that we looked at. That's the only drawback; other than that, it is absolutely gorgeous. It is a large place and very roomy. The dining room is large, open, and has windows looking onto the pond. It is just very nice. Everything there is high quality. They have a bar. You can order your meals to be delivered to your room, get your hair done, get a massage, and get therapy. I would say the food there was a 4. We had one meal that we didn't really like, but they will make you special meals if you want.

Everything was excellent at New Perspective Senior Living. They had a lot of things to do and underground parking. The rooms had two bedrooms and two baths, but they did not have anything available. We would probably have to go on a waiting list. They were really nice.
