My relative has moved into The Villa of Greenfield. It's very nice and very clean. They give extra care to the people living there. They're thoughtful and considerate. They go the extra mile. It was very well kept. They have bingo and games. Over the holidays, there's somebody there to sing along for Christmas carols. They have a pizza night and whatever.

The Villa of Greenfield used to be the mayor's house. He evidently donated it. It was OK. The person that we were supposed to see wasn't there and someone else gave us a tour. I don't know if it was prearranged or whatever. The person that gave us the tour lived there, even though she worked there, and she had a cat. It walked all over the place, in and out of people's rooms and wherever. The only thing with that is, I feel that some people don't like cats, or some people are allergic to cats. I just think if you got a cat then you should keep that in. We saw the room and it was nice. I only saw one room. It was almost like a twin bed with a recliner in there, and a small dresser, no TV. They're all individual rooms and they're kind of small. They didn't give us a whole lot of information. It was just like, "Well, this is the kind of room that you would get if you came here." I would probably have to get a TV for my husband for that as well. You get three meals and snacks, but they didn't really give you all an outlook of how many snacks or what they were giving the patients. They all give you alternatives like a cheeseburger, a cheese sandwich, a turkey sandwich, or something like that. My husband doesn't particularly like animals roaming all over the place.

The Villa of Greenfield has been very good so far. I don't have any complaints at all. It is a locked facility, but they do more than just memory care. My husband is in memory care and regular. The staff is nice and answered my questions professionally. They seem knowledgeable about dementia. Because of Covid, I only got in as far as their office. They wouldn't allow people in the building. From the outside, it looks good, but it's not the Taj Mahal. He's been there since October, and I don't have any complaints about it.

This place is horrible! My Dad was there for 2 ¹/2 months and was neglected and abused. He ask for help numerous times the staff says they will be right back and never come back. He was left on his heating pad for so long that it burned him. He screamed for help for and hour and a half till someone came. He was to weak to move the heating pad himself. He had to call 911 from the faculty because he was in so much pain from being constipated! How on earth does a patient need to call 911 when there are nurses there!? He asked for enimas multiple times and is ignored. He has stopped eating cause he is afraid to get constipated and has lost 40 pounds since he was admitted. He is now just over 80 lbs. My Dad also has a horrible rash on his butt. When I call and a "nurse" answers his phone they are alway very rude and short with me. On Christmas Eve my son got in a argument with a CNA over getting wheelchair for my Dad. CNA said my Dad was difficult to deal with and cused out my son and his fiance. Not to mention the place smells horrible like feces. Very glad my Dad was removed from there today. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

This place has some good staff that truly seem to care but the majority of them are more interested in their phones or sitting around talking to each other than taking care of the patients. Repeatedly hear complaints of baths not being given for weeks and many of the residents here look disheveled most of the time and frequently can smell strong urine and feces odors in the hallways. And rarely can I find supplies easily for my relative such as paper towels or soap or gloves. Depending on the time of the day it's hard to even find staff. Although they do have some activities more than half of the residents are sitting around in the dining room staring blankly at the TV without any stimulation most of the time. And the owner is unaccessible and when she is available makes empty promises and doesn't listen.. caring starts at the top so I do not recommend this place

My Mother was a resident of this facility for 10 years, it was convenient as its very close to my home and I could visit her daily. I had the opportunity to observe the care my mother and other residents received at all times of the day and night; I was very pleased with the level of attention she received. My Mother had an extremely difficult personality and was at times very hard to manage- I watched everyone from the Manager, Nurses, Aids and Kitchen staff treat my mother with respect & compassion. They upheld that level of commitment to each and every resident daily from my view over a decade. There were plenty of activity’s to keep her busy should she choose to participate, the staff went out of their way to make her feel special and attended to- She went on field trips, had in house art classes, was a part of the “gardening club” that involved her floral expertise. She was always clean, clothed and quite enjoyed the family dinners prepared. Her room was always fresh, sheets were changed, towels were clean and her medication schedule was always on time. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Villa to a friend or family member, my experience far exceeded my expectations.

There are no activities here at Oak Crest Villa and I have a roommate, so I don’t like it at all. The food is terrible.

I’m trying to get mom in Oak Crest Villa, but there’s a waiting list. It’s a beautiful, updated place, the people are fantastic, and the food is all homemade. It feels more like a home than an assisted living place. The rooms are very nice, bright, and cheery, and the bathrooms are great. Their food is outstanding. They do everything, like bingo, sing-alongs, and Wii bowling.

I have seen many other assisted living places that were a total nightmare. My mother was in 5 of them. I have worked in healthcare for 35 years. Cecelia who is in charge of activities works so hard to keep everyone engaged in life. She is a guardian angel and watching over the residents. Rhonda and Doris work hard in the kitchen . They also know all the residents. I appreciate Ellies expertise of getting additonal care when needed.

You've helped my mom through some very rough times. Your help and concern is very much appreciated! My mom loves you and as her daughter I think you are an amazing person. The Villa is extremely fortunate to have you. Once again thank you so much for all your hard work!!!

My father used this facility, and has not received anything resembling quality care. The staff do not have any knowledge about individual patients, often passing the buck to someone else. Phone calls to check on the status of patients go unreturned. My father recently was admitted to the hospital, and we had great difficulty receiving any information from this facility's employees regarding his status. On more than one occasion, the persons with whom we spoke promised to return our call in 30 minutes but did not follow through. Only threats of contacting state regulatory bodies result in any action. Please check out all other options before admitting a loved one to this facility.
