I moved into New Perspective Senior Living - Franklin. I would highly recommend it. It's very clean, and the people are very nice. I feel completely relaxed here, completely comfortable. The meal last night was good. I think the quality is good. There's a lot to do. Movies, and there are games and there are outings. You could keep busy all day if you want. My room is beautiful. It's only a little over two years old. The rooms are very clean and the dining room is huge so that you're not on top of each other, and it's just very nice. I'm surprised at how really good it is. You feel like you're at home. The staff is right there all the time, whether you ask for them or not, they're right there.

The tour I had with New Perspective Senior Living-Franklin was nice. It's very close to the family. It's a newer place and has a lot of activities that mom would like. The staff was very nice. I saw a studio, but they also have different floor plans. There are a lot of different common areas. It has a second-floor balcony, a pool, patios, and private gardens. They've got a bar for happy hour, their own dance studio, their own cinema, and a little coffee shop. They do weekly outings to grocery shopping, at least once a month they go out to the local casino and to restaurants and things. They're fantastic.

New Perspective Senior Living - Franklin was just a really big facility, but everything was top notch. It was beautiful. It was just very large. It was very clean, homey, up-to-date, and had large apartments. The staff was excellent, helpful, accommodating, and on time. The dining area was beautiful. They had a lot of activities. They were having socials on one floor, and I saw people playing cards. There was a lot going on.

I was at New Perspective Senior Living-Franklin. It was very nice and clean. Everybody was friendly. They had a lot more activities going on there, including playing cards. They were number one to me as far as everything that they do and in taking care of people. One great thing about them was twice a week, they took people to the doctor on their bus. They would take whoever signed up that needed to go to the doctor. It was great and I just liked it.

My mother put a down payment on New Perspective Senior Living - Franklin. It's only two years old, so it had a new feel to it. It did not feel anything close to a traditional nursing home. It felt almost more like a resort or a hotel type of thing when you walk into the lobby there. There are two reasons why we ended up going with New Perspective. One of the reasons is my mom and dad want to be in the same unit together. However, my dad had a stroke, so he'll need some support, whereas my mom is independent still. At New Perspective, they could be in the same two-bedroom unit together, even though he's receiving different care than she would be. That was the only place that we found that could do that. Also, my dad loves to swim and that was one thing that he can do, even though he's still sort of paralyzed on his left side. This had an indoor pool that he could use all year long. Those two things were the major deciding factors going with New Perspective. We toured where the two bedrooms were. My father will be listed as assisted living and my mom will be listed as independent living there in the same unit together. It doesn't separate assisted living from independent living. That was a major, major plus for us because my mom and dad wanted to be in the same unit together. The staff during the tour was awesome. Her name was Peggy and she was incredible. She was very knowledgeable and very personable, and she had a good demeanor about her and made us feel very comfortable. The dining area looked immaculate. It's not a cafeteria. There were tables with linen napkins. It had a real feel of a higher-end hotel or resort than a senior living. It's got to be the gold standard of what other places can be ranked from. I have nothing negative to say about the staff at all.

New Perspective Senior Living-Franklin is almost like a fancy hotel. My mom is in the memory care unit and it's a very bright area with a very nice dining room. The people greet you nicely. They're pretty friendly, but the main thing is it's a great place and it gives you a sense of a lot more happiness. The other ones were kind of drab when you walked in. Like everybody else, they're also having problems hiring people right now, but it's gotten a little better now. They have a lot of activities. I was there this morning visiting her and they all went outside, sat down, and did their exercises. When they were done, a personal trainer came and took her for a walk and had some more exercises for her. They also have coloring activities and trips. They're going in their bus tomorrow to go get some ice cream or go somewhere. The staff keeps them as busy as possible The rooms are adequate. Before she went into memory care, she had a one-bedroom apartment. It had a nice kitchen with a stove, refrigerator, and a washer-dryer in the unit. That was a very good room. The one she's in now is a little smaller. Her bedroom, TV, and everything is in one room. There's no dinette or kitchenette or anything, but she's got a bathroom in there. She has the opportunity to move up to a one-bedroom, but right now, it fits her current situation, and we're satisfied with it.

I like the New Perspective Senior Living - Franklin because they have physical therapy and occupational therapy right in the building. They will help you get acclimated to independent living. The staff was kind, caring, and helpful. The building is newer. The rooms are spacious and well organized. The facility is very clean. They have a salon and a movie theater.
