We chose Heights at Evansville Manor for my parents because it was very new and fresh looking, and it's kind of a small apartment type facility. The staff was very friendly, very accommodating, and very welcoming. They will be moving in permanently. They've been there during the day, but they're not completely moved in yet. The activities that were listed on the welcoming board were very interesting and very intriguing, something that I think was very good for the target demographic. It's very welcoming, very bright, very light, and very appropriate for an assisted living. They've got very reasonable rates. They have a gym, salon, courtyard, activity room, library, and lounge areas.

My mom will be moving into The Heights at Evansville Manor. The facility was very clean, had a nice appearance, and looked good. The staff was very good and showed us around. The dining area looked good. They had activities, an exercise room, washer and dryer rooms, a library, a family dining room, and a beautiful patio with a bunch of flowers right off the dining room, so that was nice to look at.

The Heights at Evansville Manor seemed very nice, clean, and welcoming. I only met two of the staff members, but they seemed kind and helpful, and they knew the residents well. They talked with them even while on tour. We looked at a basic room with a bath, it was adequate in size so it wasn't overly large but it wasn't cramped either. They had a sitting room, activities, and a very nice dining area. They had a patio and a backyard space with flowers and plants.

The Heights at Evansville Manor was the least expensive that we've looked at. It was only $3400 a month. It just seemed to be a little dark, dingy, and the atmosphere wasn't as uplifting. The price must be right and their facilities were just pretty basic. It had a dining room, a little corner where there was a library, and some outdoor area. We didn't see anybody out having any activities, because they're not back to normal yet due to COVID. I only saw one guy sitting in the library area. I thought the kitchen area was a little disjointed and inadequate. They had half of the refrigerator up on a platform and it looked kind of dorky, but for older people, it doesn't matter. They probably put it up like that so they could get it at an easier height. Overall, the one-bedroom apartment was adequate but nothing spectacular. They had what most people needed and some of the areas just weren't really inviting. When I went in the front door, nobody seemed to know what was going on. The managers weren't there and I stopped in there two times just to get some information. They said, "Push the white button.", but you couldn't find a white button anywhere in the door. It was in a really weird spot, so I stood in the entry area for a while before anybody even came. The manager or whoever the person was in charge wasn't also there. It just wasn't very professional at all. The tour wasn't very warm and inviting. It's like they just gave us a tour, but I understand that the younger gal who toured us was going to have a back operation in a couple of days.

Heights at Evansville Manor is a very good and nice assisted living. My parents are living there. They don't have a swimming pool, but they have a library, activity room, a workout area, laundry facilities, and a beautiful dining room where they cook for them. They plan activities every day for them and take care of my mom's medicine. They clean their rooms, and they do their sheets and bed. They need to do their own laundry but we could pay if we want the laundry done, but my dad is able to do laundry. It's a great facility. They are very fortunate.

The Heights at Evansville Manor is a state-of-the-art assisted-living facility. With apartment-style living, residents have their own personal space and privacy. Outside of personal apartments, the building has a small gym with some equipment suitable to different activity levels and disabilities. They also have a very nice, comfortable, well-stocked library with very comfortable chairs. This is a great space for residents to relax or to visit with guests. In the activity room, there are games, crafts, and baking facilities. Of course, staff is available to help residents with these activities. Finally, the dining room is grand. High ceilings make the atmosphere less cafeteria-like. Staff prepares meals that are well-liked by residents and guests can join their loved-ones at meals. As far as safety goes, staff is available 24/7 to help ensure resident's safety. Everyone wears an emergency life-line button that they can press and staff will come assist them immediately. The staff is very friendly and can help families feel confident that they are looking out for the health, safety, and happiness of their loved ones.
