I got a very positive first impression from Grace Willowbrook. The person during the tour was very friendly and very honest. The rooms were very adequate. The dining area looked good. Some accommodations looked a little old, but still very pleasant. I saw people getting their hair done, and there's a little library.

I'm putting Mom in Grace Willowbrook. It has a lot of the amenities I was looking for. They have the walk-in tubs, a library with large print books, and an on-site physical therapy. They have nice apartments. I didn't eat there, but they're very proud of their chef. They keep inviting me to come eat there. The dining area, the building itself, and the property were really nice. It has a lot of old trees around it, a huge walking path around it, a lot of wildlife, and they have deer and things that come around. I noticed that the staff gets along really well and that they were kind to each other. They also have storage areas besides the apartments. I'm just real happy with the place I found.

Grace Willowbrook was very good. They gave us a very thorough tour. My father would have had two rooms, a bedroom, a living room or a gathering room, and a bathroom. It had a refrigerator. The staff was very courteous and very thorough. The ones we met were very good. They even had a small library.

We have visited Grace Willowbrook in Eau Claire, Wisconsin three times. On one visit we stayed for over two hours and in addition to touring the facility, we ate lunch there. Everyone we encountered - from the director of the facility to the social worker, to the kitchen staff was extremely friendly. They have been very patient as my mom has made this decision. They are very happy to have us visit anytime that is convenient for us. The facility is clean and updated. Everything appears to be in good repair. All of the rooms are one bedroom units. There is a standard room and a deluxe room - the deluxe room has the same floor plan - it is just a little larger. Each unit has it's own bathroom and kitchenette with refrigerator and microwave. A resident is also allowed to have their own toaster and coffee maker if they want to. When a resident moves in, they bring their own furniture and can decorate any way they would like. Three meals a day are served at Grace Willowbrook. They also offer medication management for an additional charge per month. They offer weekly outings - to Target or Walmart, to a dinner theater or a local concert, or the apple orchard or trout farm. I think that my mom will be very happy there once she makes the move.
