My stepmom was transferred to this facility in April from another facility and the care has been much better here. The staff has been so wonderful and so caring. I felt good visiting her and seeing the staff interact with her, even as her Alzheimer's progressed and things became more difficult. And there is nice staff to resident ratio, plus home cooked meals. I can't thank them enough for the care received right up until she passed away.

My mother is a resident in this facility she was moved to this after we had horrible care at other facilities. I was truly skeptical of any place after our experience but this memory care facility is the best. They help get my mom off of medication that were making her symptoms worse they listened to our concerns as a family. The staff is always so helpful and kind not only to my mom but to my family I visite with my kids ages 1-10 and they feel at home. They go out side to the padio and garden area the kids talk and interact with the other residents. Yes my mother has had some falls and set backs but all are the illness and staff and Patty are amazing at keeping us informed of anything that happen. We were truly blessed to have found and been able to place my mother there. I have and will continue to recommend this place to anyone with a family member who had memorie issues and need to be in a home!!

I was very happy at first with my mother in laws care. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Once I went to visit and my mother in law was coughing. She had an inhaler to use so I asked the girls to please get it. A few minutes went by, she was still coughing and they were still laughing and talking to each other. I asked for the manager, when I came back with the manager all three girls were around my mother in law. This last February she fell in her room and broke her neck in two place. Had to take her in ambulance to Wausau. We din't know for sure what was going to happen with her. She never went back to the Homeplace cause she needed special care. This was Feb 13th. At the end of Feb they told us we would have to pay for the whole month of March cause we didn't give them a Written 30 day notice. They had 7 empty rooms, its not as if they needed the room. Right now we don't expect her to live out the next couple of days. She was doing very good before her fall, now shes dying. I wonder how long she was lying there before they found her.
