My mother moved into Renaissance Assisted Living - De Pere. It's been very good. COVID is horrible, but they're trying to get the people out and entertained as much as possible. The staff is very nice and very caring, and they go out of their way to make sure everybody feels welcome. When there are activities they come and invite my mom to participate.

We went to The Renaissance and it's OK, but they didn't include meals, that was all separate. Cleaning was separate and washing your laundry was separate. We looked at the assisted living, and there's not much personal care. They don't have a nurse on-staff. They don't do any critical care type stuff. It's basically just assisted living facility where we went. The staff was very nice, but the rooms were not as nice as the other ones we saw. They weren't as pleasant and it looked like they had old carpeting in it, and we saw one bedroom that had an old refrigerator in it. The atmosphere wasn't as pleasant. The activities were OK, but for what their cost was, it didn't compare to the other place that we went to. The dining area was nice and pleasant, but it was small. They had a beer tasting day for the men one day, and they had live music. Once a week somebody came in. It sounds like they kept them busy and they had transportation. It just didn't quite qualify for what we're looking for. It might be a five for somebody else, but for our needs, I'd give it a three.

My mom stayed at Renaissance (Assisted Living in De Pere / Green Bay) for rehab for six weeks, and it's a good, new place. They have good care and good food. They have very nice rooms for handicapped people, and the staff is very friendly and caring.

My Mom had to go there for her physical therapy, and she enjoyed her time spent there she thought the staff was very friendly and helpful, And she enjoyed the cleaned facility.

We were very pleased with The Renaissance De Pere. The staff was very nice. They provided the same accommodations and amenities as the other facility did. They had more residents, though, and the dining area was larger. Once a month, they reassign everybody’s seat so they can get to know some other people. It all looked nice. I was impressed with this place. They have chair exercises every morning, and they play bingo and other games.

My parents used to be in assisted-living at the Renaissance. It was nice, and the staff was friendly and supportive as well, but I think it just didn't fit my parents' personal needs. Their food was not really good, and more like cafeteria style. One thing for my dad was that there weren't many men, and that bothered him.
