I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My father-in-law was at Alden Meadow Park, and I'd never put a person in there in my life. They don't take care of their residents. They didn't meet the need when you asked them about stuff. He had a TV that wasn't working. He passed away there and they never fixed his TV. They let him sit out in the hallway with a diaper on that was full of crap. They weren't changing or helping him out with stuff. It was a real terrible place. He started in rehab, but they never did that. They were understaffed and they tell you that was the excuse why they weren't doing anything. The upkeep was terrible. It wasn't the cleanest place. They should be shut down.

There were ants in my brothers room, in February. The people working there have let his call light go off for over an hour. They don't respond to IV machines beeping. Don't go here this place is not a healthy environment for anyone.

I am/was a resident of this facility

I stayed at this facility for a couple weeks after surgery. The atmosphere is very home-like and the food is good. I enjoyed all of the daily options and portion sizes. Therapy got me stronger very quickly and I was able to go home and stay out of the hospital. The staff were kind and a lot of them spoke Spanish and English, which was very nice for me. I had a very nice roommate who was easy to get along with. The facility offered a television with Spanish channels which was nice as well. I would stay here again if I needed rehab.

My mother-in-law has been in Alden Meadow Park in Clinton for 5 months now. They're nice and good. It seems like a nice place, and she's getting the care that she needs. I don't know about their activities because she refuses to do anything. She refuses to get out of bed, and she refuses to leave her room. Her meals are delivered to her bed, and she said the food is good. The place looks pretty good every time I've been there.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My mom was at Alden Meadow Park for three weeks. The people were nice and cooperative, but that place needed a complete overhaul. If you just want to lay in bed, it's great. There was only one small room for activities. There's no place for people to go, aside from going into the area where they eat. Your sink is in the room, so if you need to freshen up, you're in front of everybody unless you take a pail of water over by your bed. The showers were in a room across the hall, too. There's only a curtain between you and the person next to you, then you have a nightstand with a TV and that's all you've got. It's very, very outdated. I was very disappointed in the building itself, but the staff did the best they could with what they've got. They're very kind and were very good to my mom. They were just understaffed. I think the food was good. Mom never seemed to complain about it. The only thing she complained about was that it wasn't hot enough. She's very particular when it comes to having my food. The ladies who helped her were very kind and got her back into walking, which is more than what she was doing before she went in there.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

I want other families to be aware of this nursing home and to understand that their loved one will not receive the care that they need or require. My grandfather was there for only 2 weeks and the treatment and care he received was non existent. I went to see him everyday because I could not trust he was being cared for. I would wash him up, change his sheets, shave him and clean his room. These things were not done for him. The lack of empathy and compassion shown from the nurses and staff was sickening. After 2 weeks we were able to move him to a different facility. The new facility that he is at is amazing and he is thriving to the point that we never thought possible. He had a large bed sore and his legs were so swollen they were leaking fluid the day I moved him out of Alden Meadow Park. Within hours the new nursing home recognized his medical issues and was on top of fixing these problems. My grandfather is now receiving the medical treatment he required as well as mental and physical stimulation which is what every nursing home should provide. I understand some may view this as simply a bad experience or my opinion but I can guarantee you that Alden Meadow Park is not a safe place for your loved ones to be.

My sister sat in a dirty pants for over 3 hrs. The weekend staff are not enough to make residents comfortable. Week days are fine. But 3 hrs are not except able.

Terrible place. Understaffed, rude aides, lights go unanswered for a hour at a time. Unlicensed staff performing cares. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

During the time my mother stayed here she received excellent care! The therapists were all very nice to mom and she really enjoyed talking and working with each of them. The nurses were all very personable and never once made you feel like you were bothering them. They patiently took as much time with mom as needed never once making it feel as though they were rushed. The CNAS were also very friendly, caring, attentive and made mom feel very comfortable and safe. The housekeeping staff were very helpful and does a great iob. The admissions director and social worker made certain that everything was taken care of and was extemely understanding during very difficult times. Our family simply can't say enough positive things concerning the entire staff. I would not hesitate to recommend Meadow Park.

I am a friend or relative of a resident

Our grandparents stayed in Alden Meadow Park for four years. We have a relative that works there, too. It's an older place, but it's local. The facility is close to my dad's house and my dad could take the dog and walk down there.
