Caregivers routinely ignore call buttons. Our family member waits 45 minutes to an hour after they call for help with toileting. 45 minutes to an hour in soiled pants. As a result, they've been to the emergency room for falls multiple times because they tried to get themselves to the bathroom. They also aren't bathing our family member as often as they are supposed to, and a doctor noted the rash that has cropped up from that. They don't bring our family member to meals or to activities and their spouse (who uses a walker) is left to push them in the wheelchair on their own. The hot water is often not working. No hot showers. In Wisconsin. The laundry disappears. Bedtime comes with no clean sheets on the bed. We have had many, many conversations with the nurses and care staff and still, this is the way our family member is treated. Their brochure says there is transportation, but there is not. They give you a printout of all these nice activities that will be available, but those are routinely canceled.

I was at New Perspective-North Shore for a year. It was a nice place. Everybody was outgoing. I loved to talk to people and everybody was very friendly to me. It was clean and I liked the way they had the activities. One of the big things I liked about them was that they take you to your doctor's and that they had a full kitchen, a microwave, a big refrigerator, a washer and dryer, an oven, and all the appliances in the room.

We're very happy with New Perspective-North Shore. They've done a good job here and it's been great. The building itself is like a Class-A hotel. It is elegant. The space my wife and I have is fantastic. We have a screened-in porch. They come in once a week and they'll vacuum, clean the bathroom, and do the kitchen floor. We've got underground parking as well. The staff is all good. We get one meal a day and the food is fantastic. I have had no complaints. They give us a weekly menu and if there's something you can't eat or don't like, they have a regular menu that you can order from. So, you're not forced to eat anything. They've got a swimming pool, walk-in bathtubs on each floor for therapy, a big library, a nice family lounging area, and a pool table. This afternoon at noon is the Packers game so they got a pub area with a bunch of tables and chairs and there'll be 20 to 25 people down there watching the ball game on a big screen TV. They also have a chair exercise group and a water exercise group. A person would never have to leave here. There are just a lot of things to do. The biggest thing we were here for is (we're still able to take care of ourselves right now) if the right time comes, they've got assisted living, memory care, and the therapy thing right here. They even got a hospice all here in the same group of buildings. So, we are thrilled to be here. We're getting everything we wanted and promised.

My mom is staying at New Perspective in Brown Deer. I like it, I don't have any problems with it so far. It's very clean, people are friendly, and the staff is very helpful. She has an apartment-style room with 1 bedroom, a kitchen, a living room area, and a bathroom. They have a pool, a gym, a cafeteria, and a salon. She likes the food so far.

I visited New Perspective-North Shore. I was very happy with them, but at that point, I was looking at independent living. I found out recently that my mom was going to need more care than that, but I was very impressed with the facility. It was a great in-person tour. The only reason I didn't look at them further was because it was a little farther for me to get to. The room had a smaller kitchen, like just on one wall, and the one-bedroom was relatively small, I thought. It was 550 square feet for a one-bedroom, but it was OK. The person who gave me the tour was very good, very nice, knowledgeable, and answered all my questions.

My mom is staying at New Perspective Senior Living. We chose them because they have memory care. We were staying at a place where they didn't have memory care for her and the progress of her dementia was getting worse, so I had to remove her from that facility. When my mother went into a hospital, that's where a lot of people started helping me, looking a place for her and that's how I came up with New Perspective. It's a beautiful place. Also, my dad's gonna be moving in into the independent living after the month of February. The staff is very welcoming and nice. I go and visit quite often, maybe every other couple of days or so. They said they hadn't had any COVID problems in a long time, which is good. They just got their shots, so they're pretty up with their communication level and that's important to me. I need to know everything and that's what they do. Sometimes she eats, sometimes she doesn't, but they try to make sure that she eats when she doesn't eat. They'll give her like a smoothie or something so that she could gain some weight or not lose weight. The food wasn't bad at all. She ate all of it. When I was visiting, they had the ladies out in a group, dancing. It seems a cheerful place. Even when i visited before Christmas, people just seemed so happy. The facility itself is beautiful and I feel like they're taking good care of my mom right now.

If you love your parents and grandparents PLEASE, don't put them in New Perspective North Shore. I'm still in disbelief of the condition I found my mother in on November 6, 2020. She is no longer at this facility.

My mom has moved into New Perspective North Shore. It's OK. The surroundings are fine. They have washer-and-dryer, swimming pool, dishwasher, microwave, exercise room, and a barber shop. The staff members are OK and the food is OK, too. I would rate the activities a five, but my mom has not had the opportunity to experience any of them.

My Mom has been a Resident at New Perspective for almost a year. As a healthcare professional, I look for many things that others don't. I can't say enough about the care my mom receives. Care is prompt and personal, every one know Mom and her likes and preferences. They know all our family that visits. Communication between myself and the staff is excellent. Mom is happier than I ever though she would be and of course the facilities are gorgeous. Wonderful common areas and her room is perfect. She loves the on-site pool they have and goes to water aerobics. 3

I liked New Perspective Senior Living | North Shore very much. It's a brand-new facility, two years old at the most. The rooms were the nicest I've seen and I liked the size of them. I liked a couple of the balconies that they had, and I just thought they were well done. They had a nice pool and a lot of activity rooms. They had a really nice social room with a bar in there which sets it apart from the other places. The staff I talked to was really nice. The apartments were clean and the rooms were fine. The residents seemed content and happy.

We're in New Perspective | North Shore and it's very welcoming and very professionally efficient. The meals are very good and the spirit of fellowship is very positive. The room is very well equipped with a microwave oven and a washer and dryer. Everything is very luxurious. It's a very good place. There's running water and it is heated. They have activities and the food we ate was very good. It's a beautiful building with a beautiful layout.
