My mother has a very nice modern apartment with plenty of natural light and an easy to navigate layout. She likes the food and dines with her friends every meal. The chef and kitchen staff prepare wonderful holiday meals and invite family to join in. The staff has been great to work with regarding my mother's care and she's always telling me how nice everyone is. It's comforting to know she is being looked after.

We toured StoryPoint Mequon. Everything there looked nice and had some of the nicest activities. They had some great amenities that were included there. Their dining was top-notch. They're very nice, very well planned out and thought out, and very accommodating for a lot of things, and in a lot of different dietary needs. That was an excellent place. The people were very nice. We met the staff and we met the director. They were all very friendly, very welcoming, and seemed like very nice people.

StoryPoint Mequon was clean. The lady doing the tour was exceptional and was very good at her job. The room is pretty spacious for one bedroom. There is a salon. They have an active crafting community. The dining area was up-to-date and looked restaurant-style.

My mom lived alone for 15 years after my dad passed. She was independent until the age of 91. She did not want to live with me but after a couple hospitalizations for atrial fib and CHF she knew she could not live alone. Mom required minimal help and we liked Storeypoint because she could stay in her apartment with a kitchen and laundry and be independent, however, if she needed more care she did not have to move to another wing of an assisted living facility. It was difficult to watch her go from taking care of herself to the last 2 weeks of her life needing care that I know I could not have provided at my home. Margaret was there for us and she and staff cared for her to the end in her apartment not in a hospital which was mom’s wishes.

Everything about StoryPoint Mequon is wonderful. It's just out of my price range. The staff was excellent. It's a newer facility, and it's very well kept, very clean and it's very nice. It was a very friendly atmosphere. The dining room was very nice, too.

The executive director of StoryPoint Mequon was very available while I was writing a bunch of checks and getting Mom settled in, but she's been pretty unavailable recently. I don't know if that's uncommon, but I kind of thought that mom would get a little bit more help getting acclimated. My mom is by nature, very shy and very introverted, so she's not likely to go up to some people and say, "May I sit with you for lunch?" It would be nice if they would assign a person to her just to kind of help her a bit. I guess they don't do that. They have an exercise class at 10:30 every morning. If somebody just knocks on her door and says, "Let's go to exercise.", but nobody does. It's a nice place, though. I looked at a bunch of places. They have linen tablecloths, servers, activities, and exercise classes. It's modern, it's new, and it's small. I like the size of it. All these are good things. There are only 61 residents there. The staff is wonderful. They're all very nice.

StoryPoint Mequon was very clean. The staff was very personable. They had a lot of events on their calendar for the residents to partake in. The membership coordinator was very patient and was very willing to answer all of our questions. The rooms were well-maintained. We met the chef and he was very nice. They had a welcoming lobby with a fireplace, a dining room, a craft room, a game room, two meeting rooms, and a bar area.

We toured StoryPoint Mequon, but they were quite a bit more expensive. And I didn't see a significant difference in what they had to offer versus what the other places had to offer. Carrie, the staff who assisted us with the tour, was very, very good. The room sizes were very good.

Story Point has made this stressful transition for my mom and our family so much easier. The staff has been helpful, patient, responsive and willing to answer questions. They have worked with our family in every aspect of our mother's care. When a family member is diagnosed with dementia, it is scary and finding answers is not easy. But the staff at Story Point has been easy to work with and never is bothered by our questions. They have gone out of their way to find us answers or point us to the correct resource even if it wasn't directly their responsibility. They have made sure that mom and our whole family is comfortable with her care and her new situation. We were able, and encouraged, to make mom's room just like her bedroom at home and the staff is always adding new activities and brainstorming new ways to make her transition easier. You can tell they all care and truly want to see mom settled in comfortably and enjoying her community and home.

My family member is very happy living in this community. It was difficult for her to finally make the decision to leave her home, but she is happy she did and now enjoys living in this senior community. The staff is friendly and caring. The apartments are clean and spacious.

My husband moved into StoryPoint Mequon. It's close to my home. They have a very caring staff. They do serve communion. The food is very good. They have events. They have a bus that they sometimes take on little trips. They have singing and play old-time music. They have exercise classes, which is nice. He has a one-room apartment with a refrigerator, a stove, and a microwave. His lamps turn on right away when you touch them. The bathrooms have walk-in showers.

My father has been in assisted living in the StoryPoint Community for about a year now. It was recommended to us by a friend whose mother was living there. He has a beautiful 1 bedroom plus den apartment with a full kitchen. They also offer independent and memory care facilities. The facilities are clean and well maintained thanks to the housekeeping and maintenance staff. When you enter the building, you are greeted by a smiling and friendly receptionist. The staff is great and are willing to address any concerns you may have. They have a very energetic activity director that plans lots of fun things for the residents to do on a daily basis as well as outings to restaurants and just scenic rides that may include a stop for some ice cream! They also have many things that families are invited to that involve food prepared by the excellent chef and his staff. Our dad is always complimentary about the food. The community has caring on staff nurses but also has other medical personnel that visit. There is also a salon that our dad uses for his haircuts. We feel that dad is safe and well cared for and my siblings and I are happy we chose StoryPoint.

My mother has been living at Story Point memory care for the past four months. The rooms and bathrooms are roomy. Nice tall ceilings and large windows provide a scenic view. Staff are very courteous and helpful. They lookout for my mother's needs and I feel she is well cared for.

Great management and caregivers. My mother loves her unit and tells me all the time how great the food is. StoryPoint was recommended by a friend and we are so happy with our decision.

I went to StoryPoint Mequon. It's very pleasant. The person who was to give me the tour came in on a Sunday morning to show me the place. The initial presentation was very nice. The entrance and the dining areas were pretty good. It has a happy hour area. It has a nice sun porch. The apartments were nice, and the appliances were very nice. I don't have a lot of negative about it. It's just that I like the other place better. They have a small fitness room. Their activity section was not well developed as it is here. The staff all seemed very pleasant. The entrance seemed secure. I was looking at one-bedrooms and they were nice. The appliances were very nice. They had a stove and a refrigerator and where I'm at, you don't have your own stove. It was before noon on Sunday morning, so there wasn't much in the way of staff around, but the person who took us around was very nice and seemed knowledgeable and very accommodating. I think she came in on a Sunday morning. The apartments were nicely furnished. They had upscale appliances. The weakness of it would be their fitness area, which she said she was working on getting more developed.
