My dad has moved into Regency Brookfield. I like the acceptance of them into the community. They're friendly people. They made it easy to move in. All major appliances are furnished. They have a refrigerator, an oven, a stove-top oven, a microwave, and a dishwasher. Appliances are included. Your heat is included in the rent, too. They provide air conditioner units that you can use and not use. They have free laundry services there. And if you bring your own washer-dryer into the unit, they have some units that have hookups for that. The building is very well maintained. They have activities. They do some excursions and shopping trips. They do activities, inside and outside.

My parents will be moving into Regency Brookfield. We basically chose them because they had availability that wasn't a two-year wait. The staff was very helpful. The building is older than some of the other ones, but it's very nice for its age. I like that it isn't so big. Some of these places were so huge that I knew my mother would get lost. It's small, so it's easy to commute to the art room, the physical fitness room or the dining room.

Regency Brookfield was my second choice. They had very friendly and knowledgeable staff. It was clean, and they're easy to reach. In the assisted living, they will take Medicare after self-pay, but with memory care, they will not.

We toured Regency Brookfield. It's very nice, not brand-new, but it's well-established, and comfortable when you walked in. The apartment is comfortable-looking, but it was smaller than what we're looking for. The staff member was excellent, honest about everything, and all the questions we asked, they gave us a lot of time, and showed us everything that was available to show. They had a beauty salon, and a library. The only problem was that everything that took place, the meals, celebrations, were all in just one room, instead of having separate rooms for different things. You don't have a separate area for smaller parties, but everything was very clean, very nice, and well thought out. It had an excellent location, close to stores and shops.

The Regency (ProHealth Care Regency Senior Communities Brookfield) was very nice, but it did not have a first floor room available. However, the apartments were very nice. It looked like a fairly new, nice, cheerful place. They had some meal service, but not three meals a day. I saw the inside of two of the rooms that were nice and clean and spacious enough. I was looking only at one-bedroom units. However, they said I could not keep the dog. Pets were only allowed on the first floor, and they didn't have any available.

We’ve been happy so far with Regency. They were very accommodating, friendly and answered all our questions. They have bingo and trips. My mom had one dinner, they served inner at 5 in the evening and my mom doesn’t like eating that early. She probably doesn’t participate in the meal. It’s very accessible to the shopping centers and health care facilities.

We visited Regency for my father. Everybody was very welcoming. The place was immaculate. We weren't there that long, but they were very patient and accommodating. The rooms were very nice. They were a nice size. They were perfectly ample for what my father needs. They have quite a few things going on during the day. They have trips four or five times a month, and then grocery store and events that they went to. The dining room was nice and pleasant. The facility was very clean, and that impressed me.

The care is satisfactory in Regency. My mom has been in this facility for some time now. The atmosphere is great. They meet my expectation like attending to her needs. They have people who give her medication in a prompt manner. They make sure she gets to dinner in time. If there are any problems they certainly address the issue in a timely fashion. The staff there is professional and accommodating. My mom is very happy with the situation.

I helped get my grandmother admitted to this facility. I worked with Terri at Regency, who was incredibly kind, patient and helpful. My grandmother first needed to get on Title XIX and Family Care, which was a rather complicated process, and then through the Regency admission process. Thanks to the Regency staff, the process was surprisingly fast and painless. Regency is one of the very few (only?) facilities in Brookfield that accepts Title XIX residents, so it was critical to us to get my grandmother in. She has been there about a month and is very happy. The food is excellent (it's all she talks about!), the staff is friendly and kind, and the atmosphere is very nice. I am so glad that we were able get my grandmother admitted there. Would highly recommend.

I toured Prohealth Care Regency three times. It was beautiful. They had a rehab facility building, assisted living building and independent building and these three separate buildings were all in the same area. They also had memory care. I liked that they had a separate independent living building. However, although the independent living had a dining hall, they only offered five meals a week, two were dinner and three were lunch. There was a wet land, a conservancy behind the independent living where nothing could be built on and it was quite lovely if you were facing that direction. There were a lot of units with balconies and patios there. Also, at the back of the building they had a patio with a grill. They have theme nights like Chinese nights or Italian nights. On occasion, they had happy hour where they served with wine and beer. They were trying to make it as fun as possible. They do a lot of stuff. However, if you want to stay in your unit you certainly could.

Overall, this facility is very good. The staff is friendly and not only knows all the residents by name, but also makes the effort to get to know them as well as their families. They also host activities for the residents, such as movie viewings and various arts and crafts projects. In addition, performing groups come occasionally to perform for the residents. The facility is kept tidy and clean, and has all the amenities the residents may need, including a hair salon. However, it should be noted that this facility is not for those who require copious amounts of attention, such as individuals with severe dementia, as the staff is not able to provide this type of care.
