This is a great facility. The rooms are spacious with private bathrooms. The variety of activities is wonderful, and there are even evening activities. The staff are friendly and truly care for their patients. My dad has been there for 4 months now and we haven't encountered anyone who isn't kind and patient with him. The gardens are beautiful and well cared for.

This is a dangerous facility. My mother was there after breaking her neck. They did not change her clothes or underwear for days, despite clean garments being laid out. A CNA removed her neck brace in the shower, despite my verbally telling her not to & the care plan stating not to remove the brace. It was put on wrong & no one checked it. They stopped her narcotics cold turkey & she was nearly comatose. Management just kept saying they were looking into matters & that she received good care. Terrible quality care.

My husband fell and fractured his hip. He spent one month in the skilled nursing facility at the Congregational Home. He entered totally dependent on others for his care and left almost totally independent. He received exceptional care. Any time an issue arose I was contacted immediately. If I had a question I received a timely response from the case worker, the nurse, the social worker, or PT therapists. We were told the food was delicious and it proved to be true. I would recommend the Congregational Home to anyone seeking a temporary rehab location.

My mom was in the rehab center. The staff is great, very caring! The facility is beautiful and the food was terrific. We felt the pt team was super! I strongly recommend Congregational Home for you or your loved ones.

My mother moved into Congregational Home. Our experience is pleasant, the staff is very nice, and my mother likes it there. If we have problems, they take care of it right away. They stop in to see her and they're very professional. All the people that we met there were very friendly and we liked the location. They have all kinds of stuff for the residents, they go on field trips, they have get-togethers, and they do yoga and all kinds of exercise things and so on. I like how nice and clean the place is. My mom has her own washer and dryer, and she cooks in her own kitchen. We looked at a couple of places and this one was the best for us.

Congregational Home was very light, bright and big in terms of the overall layout. The rooms were on the smaller size. The person that assisted us was very professional and knowledgeable. They offered activities like arts, music, and shuttle services. The dining area was very nice, open, and pretty.

Be advised that your loved one cannot receive additional care such as IV, antibiotics after admission to the SNU/Hospice unit of Congreg Home. We have experienced this in the last year and didn't know about it until it was too late

We visited several facilities all around this area. We were so impressed with the Congregational Home because it was so friendly. During our visit everyone greeted us - residents, custodial, nursing, and other support staff. Everybody and everything seemed clean and well cared for. There were activities offered all day long, including an additional program especially for socialization and memory. We also liked that there is a chaplain there. Very impressive!

Congregational Home was nice. The rooms were spacious, and they had just done a lot of remodeling, so they were trying to make it look interesting -- two bedrooms with a whole kitchen facility that you could live there and be under the same roof with your spouse and if not, then you could start up in one of the apartments, and after you couldn't handle taking care of yourself, you could just stay in there with everything. It was more carefree that you don't have to do anything, but it is quite expensive.
