Remembrance Home is a place that I was looking at for my friend. Actually she was on their waitlist. It's small, so my friend would not get lost. Everything is in a circle; she would always end up back at the same place she started. They have a non-denominational pastor coming in. There is a mass service and a Sunday morning service. They have a salon area, too. I also saw some of the people reading. I would give this place a 5 because if they had an opening when my friend had to go some place, that's where she would have went.

I visited Remembrance Home. It’s a giant open concept and each person gets a room with an individual bathroom, but you cannot bring your furniture. The place was very nice, just not fit for my grandmother.

My mother-in-law was here for several years and her treatment was WONDERFUL. The food was good. Her treatment was appropriate and very respectful. My relatives and I dropped in to visit as often as we could and were always greeted warmly by the staff who answered any and all questions cheerfully and effectively. There were activities to help the clients interact and maintain their physical well being. The facility is constructed so that no client will ever be in a "wrong" place since if they keep walking in the same direction they will inevitably end up by their room again. The ratio of caretakers to clients is excellent and they must be screened before being hired since I never met a "sourpuss" in the bunch. There are a number of common spaces where families can have semi-private interactions and, for a small price, they were even willing to let us have our meals with her. I would give more than 5 stars if possible.
