My Mother was in Brewster Village for thirteen years before she past. She got extremely good care. Our family never worried about the care she received. Her room was nice, she liked the food and they treated her very well. Never for one day regretted putting her in Brewster Village. No better place.

My mom is probably going to be at Brewster for the rest of her life. It's a nursing home. I really haven't been in it because of Covid, but so far, she has received great care and everybody is very helpful. It is one of the top of the line nursing homes in the area. My mom got good care with the staff, but there are some nurses I have had some conflict with. I don't think they have activities right now. My mom wouldn't participate because she's got wound care going on with her leg. It seems clean and well kept.

My Mom was a resident at Brewster Village for two years and two months and now my Dad is there. My Mom was a dementia patient there and was treated especially good. The staff is easy to talk to, their compassionate towards the resident and residents family. My Dad is there now and they treat him the same way. The resident rooms are large with their own bathroom, and they do a great job keeping every thing clean. They sponsor day trips outside the faciality, exercise faciality, walks and three wheel pedal bike rides. They have great interaction with the staff, nurses, faciality social workers and management. The maintenance staff is awesome, you want a picture hung, TV hooked up, or any thing for the resident, they work hard to make things happen exceptionally during the time of Covid-19. I would highly recommend this faciality to anyone looking to place their loved ones in a home.

My husband was at Brewster Village before. Initially, he came there from the hospital and he was in high level nursing care, but then he moved down to more just long-term care. I thought the staff was very skilled. It is so hard to say because I was not allowed to enter Brewster Village at all. I really could only see him through the window there, because there was quite a bit of COVID there. That's one of the reasons I moved him out of there, because they had too many COVID cases. It's a very large facility with a lot of overhead. In the other community where he's in, it's safe. I think there are 28 rooms there and at Brewster Village there are like 240. I think where he is right now, his care is much more personalized. The thing about Brewster Village too is that whenever I would call to get an update on how he was doing, they never seemed to know. They had to go ask someone else or look something up. They never seemed to really know the patient that well. My husband told me the food was good. It was very well-maintained. It was quite expensive.

Brewster Village was absolutely amazing. The environment was calm and peaceful. The staff member I met was kind and informative. The location is a little farther from where we wanted, but it’s worth the couple of minutes to not have to worry about the security at all. They have a lot of different activities like bingo, painting, and crafts.

Brewster Village was very pleasant. It had a very nice atmosphere. It just was not what we needed. It had larger hallways and bigger rooms.

My husband's uncle was staying at this facility after he had his leg amputated and was having difficulty caring for himself. it was very difficult for the family to care for him as well. This facility was very warm and caring. everytime we visited there, they always seemed to take very good care of him. They where gentle with their care and friendly while working with him. Not only did they make him feel comfortable but they also made the family feel good about him being there. It was very important for the family to feel comfrotable with him there, and the staff was very good about helping them feel that comfort.
