I LOVE The Weatherly!! We have a friend that had surgery & ended up there & she would never leave. It’s lovely there; beautifully decorated and landscaped. The staff are super nice, knowledgeable, patient and attentive. The food is great…lots of variety, some high end food, some down home cooking and plenty of healthy choices too. Lots of fun activities available…both inside and plenty of field trips as well. I'd love to live there.

Dad has been in Weatherly Inn Tacoma for a few months now. When we were shopping around, this was one of the ones that was highest on my list. My older sister was the one who checked it out. We selected a few but some of the ones that had been suggested to us did not get our attention the way that we wanted it. We wanted a place that we felt pretty good about because we were leaving a place that we did not feel good about and Weatherly Inn Tacoma seemed to be that place. It was much cleaner than the previous place and the staff seemed a lot better to work with. My dad seems a lot happier there. Everybody's been great to work with. No complaints. I think my sister had dinner with my dad regularly now, and she says the food's pretty good. He's been much more involved in activities. One day they had live music in there, they had them painting, some bingo stuff going on, and they had some other game that involved a little bit of physical activity to keep them moving.

We toured Weatherly Inn Tacoma. We smelled the food and saw it. It's more expensive, and I don't think you get anything different than what you get at the other facility, but the facilities are much nicer. The location is wonderful. The apartments are very spacious and large. The building itself is like a boutique hotel. It's beautiful. The staff members are all very friendly and helpful. They have spacious accommodations. The menus provided a good variety, and the portions were large size portions, a kind of homestyle comfort food that you would get at home. The amenities were very similar to the other ones, but they have a chapel and a library.

We made an in-person tour of Weatherly Inn Tacoma and it was super expensive. It's $7000 a month and there's no way we can go with that. I think we visited the lowest level of care, independent living, but they also talked about respite care. The place is very beautiful, clean, and I would say upscale. The staff was very courteous and polite. We weren't able to try the food due to Covid but we did get to look at the menu and the food looked delicious. They also have a beautiful dining room. They showed us an apartment and it was quite roomy. We looked a little at a few of the amenities but no one was using it because of Covid. It looked like they had a salon in it, a gym, kind of like a game room or a reading room. They had a courtyard, and I think they had a bit of a barbecue area. If you have the money and you don't mind spending the money then you'd want to be there. We couldn't see what else was available. I don't know if they had a pool, not like my mom's going to use a pool, but a pool might be something nice for people, especially if you're older and you want to do some exercises.
