My mother has moved into Maplewood Gardens. They've been very helpful. What I like about it had a lot to do with finances. My mom didn't have a lot to put into her assistance, so the cost was a big factor. Also, this is a very nice facility, and we heard good things about it. Her room is very nice. They went out of their way to give her one of the larger rooms, so it's very nice. It's in an older neighborhood, so there are well-established trees and the landscaping is nice. There are some things that could use some updating from age, but I think from what I've understood, there are some new owners who bought the facility and they'll be taking care of some of that. Because of the COVID thing we were not really able to tour it, we still can't go in to visit her, and we aren't able to see what they do there.

I toured Maplewood Gardens and it was very nice. I liked it. The rooms were clean and nice. I saw a studio apartment where the bed was in the same room as the kitchen and everything. The staff that I met were nice. They were doing a painting class the day I was there, and it looked like it was fun. They have a bus that goes out for activities once a week.

My husband lived in Maplewood Gardens for three months. It was average. It was an older building, and it was OK. The staff was nice. They do the ladies' nails, and they sit and listen to music. They also have computers.

My mother is very happy in Maplewood Gardens. They have very caring staff who has been really good at working with her. She has a small dog and they've been really great with that too. She feels like she's just at home. She also loves the food and you're always able to reach someone by phone. They've been good about keeping me informed about any issues she has and it's important to me that they're easy to contact. They were also the first to have an opening so we picked them.

I found Maplewood Gardens for my mom. It was a nice facility, and my mom liked the apartment. The apartment is not small, but it’s not large either. Everybody was very nice. The staff is good. They treat her very well. They help her whenever she needs it. They always keep me informed on what’s going on. It was how friendly the staff was that really caught my eye the first time. I talked to the residents, and all of them were saying that they love it there. I’ve eaten there a couple of times with my mom, and the food is pretty good. They have quite a few activities. She went to Green Bluff. They have bingo, bunco, and movie night. They take them shopping and on outings to stores. I looked into a couple other places, but I liked Maplewood better, and it was convenient because it’s close to me, too.

The staff was extremelly friendly and helpful throughout the tour. I left feeling confident in their abilities to provide a safe and comfortable living environment for my grandmother. The facility is located directly next door to a large park and trails along side the city's river. The facility is also conveniently located near shopping, and other activities.
