I lived at Affinity at South Hill. It was nice, beautiful, and clean. It was well-cared for. A lot of people were very happy there, they played a lot of cards, and they socialized, but it was not the right place for me. The rooms were very nice, they were clean, and modern. It had a theater, a library, a beautiful swimming pool, a jacuzzi, and a workshop for the men. They did not have a social director, so the activities were planned by the residents. It was a more casual environment.

This place is under new management and it is not for the better. When I 1st moved in here a year or so ago they took wonderful care of us. Now they shut us down on a whim, even not when it's the governor's orders. They don't take care of us anymore. In fact they don't do Anything anymore. They canceled all of the community activities so they just chitchat in the back office. They don't put ice melt out and they lie and say they do. When a resident fell a couple weeks ago on the ice, someone ran to tell the sales Manager and she was pouring drinks for happy hour. She said, "well I'm the only one here so there's not much I can do." She didn't call an ambulance and she didn't even send anyone to check on the woman.. It is horrible here. I am moving. You are welcome to my little apartment!!! ALL YOURS!!!

Affinity at South Hill is very clean, and the staff members were very professional. It's a very nice place, and I believe it's the best that I have seen. The place is quite comfortable, and it's easy to feel at home. It's a little difficult to get to it from the highway, but the staff members are great.

I have been here for a month and have loved every minute. There is always something going on. It has awesome amenities. Everyone is pleasant and friendly. There is 15 minute house keeping two times a month. The staff is wonderful. I have a one bedroom apt which provides me with plenty of room. Come join us we would love to have you here.

Affinity at South Hill is quite nice. I have a single bedroom apartment, and the people are nice here; I haven’t had any problems. I am content with the room, it has a cooking facilities and a washer and dryer. I’m on the second floor, and it overlooks trees. Sanitation has been OK so far. They come and clean the rooms and stuff of the three floors of this apartment, and there’s about 150 apartments in this building. The staff have been very good to me. I’ve been here seven months, and it’s OK for me.

Affinity is wonderful, and the activities are wonderful. The building is beautiful, and the staff is great. They allow pets, and they have woodworking, crafts, arts, aerobics, and a swimming pool.

The rooms at Affinity are kind of small and they have showers in it only. The staff are good. This facility is an independent living facility so they don’t provide food. All in all, they didn’t have the things that we were looking for.

Affinity at South Hill is kept very clean and safe. I think the staff is very nice they seem to be going a very good job. They have get-togethers, potlucks, barbecue, and pancake breakfast down at the community area. They also have activities like arts and crafts and some water exercises.
