Parkwood is an over fifty-five manufactured home community. The facility has a nice community building where the residents can participate in scheduled activities, they can request the facility for a private gathering also. The landscaping is nice. It is heavily treed and well landscaped. The property is maintained constantly. To reside there you have to fill out an application and be accepted. The rent does go up every year. It goes up the same percentage as social security. Which is really rotten for the residents. The ones with limited incomes can't ever get ahead. Neighbors can be petty though and if they don't like something in a persons yard they can complain to the management and potentially have the person remove or change what was complained about. My mother has been the recipient of this a few times. In addition, If a resident wishes to paint their home the colors they are choosing must be accepted by the management. The rules seem to strict.
