I visited this facility

I toured The Lodge at Sherwood Village and it was very nice. The staff was excellent, and the apartments were very nice. They were in really good shape because they showed me the ones that were available. The whole facility was very nice.

The Lodge at Sherwood Village was very lovely and quite elegant. There are apartments available on the occasion, and sometimes a cottage is available. It's very upscale. I was there for lunch- which was delicious, and a guided tour which was very nice. They have an exercise room, and we're so close to other things there that you could go out and walk around the lovely grounds. The dining room is restaurant style and quite lovely.

I visited this facility

I was seriously looking at The Lodge at Sherwood Village. I had visited it several times. It was excellent. The only drawback was that they could do any medical procedures, care or anything. You would have to hire a caregiver. While I was there during my last visit to my son, I looked at the assisted living, which was also owned by the owner of The Lodge at Sherwood Village to see whether that would fit my needs, if I could no longer exist independently, and it indeed was to my liking. I liked the idea of their cottages. They had two and three-bedroom cottages. You would feel like you were in a little house, but then you had all the amenities that The Lodge provided. They had transportation, activities, a gym, and meals. I found the staff to be very friendly and very helpful.

The Lodge is a very nice place. It certainly is the best one that I’ve ever seen so far. It’s a little more expensive than the others, but it’s worth it if you have the money, and it’s one that you might want to have a look at. It’s only about 7 or 8 blocks from the main downtown. It’s big, and it’s an absolutely beautiful building. If you have a room on the south side, you can get a nice view of the mountains. I’ve never eaten there, but it seems to have a very nice dining room; the entrance is just spectacular. They’re fine for independent-living, but they don’t seem to have much in the way of assisted care.

The most effective place was the Lodge, but I understood it was kind of pricey there. It was within spitting distance from my church. If I knew more about them, I might consider it. However, I had not really researched as to the price and some other aspects about the business of how would they handle you if you were disabled. I needed to talk to them about that. I went there to have a woman work on my feet. The place was always spotless. I had eaten in their bistro; I had soup and a sandwich, and that was very nice. It had different kinds of rooms. They had a room with a bed and a closet. They had one bedroom and two bedroom apartments.

I am a friend or relative of a resident

We visited the Lodge, and I thought the staff was very nice. We had dinner there, and it was delicious. It seemed like a nice place, but I didn’t see much in the way of people socializing with each other. We just didn’t see people doing that, but maybe that was just the time we were there. I would recommend the facility; we have friends who live there, and they seemed to be happy enough. The ones we saw were 2-bedroom, one was a cottage, and it seemed quite spacious.

The Lodge was an outstanding facility. Though it was pretty expensive, and I thought not too many people would be able to afford it, it's extremely clean, modern, and well-managed. They had excellent rooms. The care there was outstanding. The clients there seemed to be very happy. They could do as much as they were able to or wanted to. They had a lot of outside activities, and they also had a lot of activities within the facility as well. It was an absolutely beautiful surrounding.
