I have moved into Victoria Park in Seattle. I have been here for 2 months now. It has been very positive, even with COVID restrictions, I've still been able to meet some of my neighbors. I'm looking forward to the community activities they have. I wanted to be in a community of people who are retired like I am, because I was moving into a city where I didn't know anybody else, so having activities that Victoria Park has is important to me. I needed a room with a walk-in shower and the only available one was a 2-bedroom so I'm in a 2-bedroom now. It's got a living room, a small dining room area, and a small kitchen. It's got a small patio. Not all of the apartments here have a patio but this one does. Everything is still closed but there is a roof that is open so I just go up there and read a book for a little bit. They have a library, a community room, and they have card game activities here. Looking at the calendar from last year, they had some language-learning activities. There's also a movie room. There are laundry facilities in some of the apartments, but there are also laundry facilities on each floor. There's garage parking and there's management onsite at all times.
