We went to Arrowhead Gardens. The person we met was great. She took a lot of time and showed us around. There seemed to be a lot of people on staff, so it was very efficient. They were really in charge of that place. They knew what was going on. The apartments were great. We loved them. The courtyards were beautiful. The apartments were really small for independent living. If you're just looking for a nice, compact little place, it was good. They also had meals available and a shuttle available for shopping. The grounds were well kept. What we didn't like is that there were a lot of people there and they were getting COVID shots, so it was a little bit more crowded. There was a big mix of people. It's very industrial, you wouldn't feel safe walking outside of that complex. It was tight and parking could be an issue. There was nothing around there to walk to. The staff said that they've had some homeless issues across the street that are being cleared out. We liked the complex itself. The facility was great. It's just a little too cramped. My mother wanted something that she could just walk to, so that dropped the score.

Arrowhead Gardens was a very clean and nice place. I liked the surroundings. There was a van that takes people places (which was a plus) and other activities for the residents. The staff was also friendly. Overall, they were good.

My mother will move to Arrowhead Gardens. I like that they have tons of activities, there are lots of residents around who were happy, and the location. I saw a one-bedroom and a few two-bedrooms. I liked the apartment. She got a balcony, so she's very happy. They have an activity room, rooftop gardens, a courtyard, a theater room, and at least one activity every day. We met a bunch of people waiting to go to the symphony organized by them. It seemed well kept up. Everything was clean, tidy, and in good repair. They provide some transportation. (NOTE: The address is 9200, not 9230. Please use OW and Caring.com website for address (not Google address).

I will be moving into Arrowhead Gardens next month. It seemed to be a pretty good value for the space, and I liked the open feel of the area that there's a lot of traffic around, but it's not right around the facility and the people seem to be friendly. I also liked the amenities that they offered and it seemed clean. They had forgotten that we were coming, so they weren't quite prepared, but they did a great job in spite of that. We had to wait for a little bit, then somebody was able to show us around. She was fabulous, very lively, and knew what she was talking about, and I liked her a lot. She also lives in the complex and I asked her which building was the most fun and she said the one where she lived. I said, "Well, then that's the place I want to live." My unit has a kitchen and I love to cook, so food or meals wasn't something thatas looking for. There are a lot of activities and I know that there are groceries. You can have somebody bring them to you or you can go grocery shopping. A bus goes to some of the neighborhood stores, and it is kind of nice. When my son and I were there, somebody was dropping off bags of groceries, maybe if you were short on funds that somebody was supplying some extra food, which I thought was nice. It was very clean and well organized, and the decorating was very tasteful. A washer and dryer are available, some units have them and some don't, but you can request one for an additional monthly charge, which isn't too bad. Some units have parking, but not all of them. There is an exercise facility on-site, and a really big gathering area, if you wanted to have a get-together or maybe a family dinner with 20 people or so. It's very well equipped with a couple of ovens and a refrigerator. That is something that I'm sure that I'm going to take advantage of.

Arrowhead Gardens was nice, well taken care of, and really big. I was in a wheelchair, and they had a really nice big shower, which would have been great for me. The staff was very friendly.

Shag Arrowhead Gardens is very beautiful. It does not have memory care, but the facility itself and the grounds are really nice. The one bedroom that we were looking at was about 568 square feet. We know because we talked to them about it today. They are subsidized, but for this particular community you have enough income coming every month at least double what the units cost per month. It wasn't built very long ago. It looks very contemporary and very well maintained with beautiful landscaping. They have a movie room, a craft room, and various types of amenities for the residents that lived there. It is really large. They have three different buildings that are all clustered around the central landscaped courtyard. It is nice. The only big problem is that it is on a super steep hillside. If you drive and have a car, they have underground parking that you can utilize. But they are nowhere near a shopping district. They have an electric car available for the tenants to use. You just have to get checked out by the staff that you can drive it, and then they'll let you borrow the electric car.

Arrowhead was a very nice facility, and I believe it is several floors. The lobby is very nice. The staff is very nice. It is very clean. They have vegetable gardens and where people can have their own space and grow their own vegetables and flowers. They have a clubhouse with nice furniture. They have a little library. They take you out, if you want to go to a place to eat.
