I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

We brought my 91 year old Mom to Chateau Valley Center for respite care and assisted living when she broke her arm and could no longer live independently. It is the absolute best place for her. They took amazing care of her when her assistance needs were high, but once she healed and no longer needed so much care, they were quick to adjust her cart costs. Every single staff member was professional, caring, welcoming, and so so friendly. They were really great about communicating with me about things I needed to know. The whole place is kept very clean and in good repair. I would give Château Valley Center 100 stars if I could.

I knew somebody who lived in Chateau Valley Center for a few years. He lived in the assisted part. He had a good place. The only part I didn't care for was the memory care area. They took me on a tour there and it just didn't feel right for my brother. They just seemed to be looking and sitting around. They should find things that they are interested in so that they have something to do that would make them feel worthwhile. In the assisted living, they had bingo, games, gatherings where they could meet, and a bus that would take them to shopping areas. My friend's room is pretty nice. It had a balcony where he could see out and walk out on it. It was an older facility, but it was kept up nice and clean. It's very close to a hospital across the street.

I visited this facility

Chateau Valley Center was a nice facility. The people were friendly there. Before COVID they had field trips and in-house entertainment, and they had a nice library. The food was good. The building was good, modern, clean, and up-to-date.

My mom lives at Chateau Valley Center. It's a beautiful place. The people are great. The staff members are lovely. It's just excellent. The dining area is lovely, but the food is only so-so. The activities include water aerobics, exercise classes, current events, craft activities, current movies, outings, and shopping.

I am/was a resident of this facility

I have only been here at Chateau Valley Center for a week, but the staff is great. They are attentive and friendly, and they are great people. The food is good too. It is clean, and I do like the setup. There are two bathrooms, a kitchen, a stove, and a fridge.

I visited this facility

They have been very good. They have been very good about calling back and being very polite and very nice and offering lots of help. Everybody that has called me has been very good. I saw their dining room and it was very nice. One of the reasons my friend moved there is because they have a swimming pool and she has MS. The staff are very polite.

I visited this facility

The Chateau was a very nice facility. They showed me their dining room and their menu. They have samples of their food out and it looked good. We got there when there was same kind of an emergency, so this girl who was supposed to do the touring had to take this person to the hospital and we got another staff member who I felt wasn't that well versed in what he was doing.

I am a friend or relative of a resident

The staff at the Chateau was very friendly and professional and I felt comfortable leaving my grandfather there. His room is a on the small side, but it is clean and comfortable and we were able to fit all his things. The view is great as he can see out over the city. The signage around the building is very clear and concise, which is great for my grandfather who tends to get lost easily. There are always people around to point him in the right direction as well as make sure he's eating and taking his medication. I also appreciate the variety of activities there are for him to do, such as daily drives in the bus, shopping trips, and movie nights. He has plenty of opportunities to interact with the other residents during more than just mealtime. I am confident that he is well taken care of and I am warmly welcomed whenever I come to visit.

We chose this facility because it came well recommended to us. My mom had to go in an assisted living and so we moved her to Chateau Valley Center. She had been treated there nicely by all the staff. She is staying in a one bedroom apartment there. I think their menus are fine.
