My husband is a resident of The Cottages at Edgewood in Puyallup. It's very nice and very clean. They have nice rooms and everything. It's a nice place for him to walk around and stuff. I can't describe the staff because they just had a big change over everybody. So, I don't know any of them now. The general manager, the office people, the nurse, everybody has changed; and the caregivers, they're all different. I'm pretty sure the care is good because he seems to be doing okay over there. I just want him close to home, it's too far for me to travel. They tried to get him in some activities, but I don't think that they do a lot, but they can't get him to do anything anyway. The last time I saw him, he walked out of the room that we were in. I was kind of going after him and they set him down at the table. They had a pasta dish, pasta with chicken, and some biscuits, probably some vegetables. I didn't try it; I'm not allowed to mingle in there with anybody. We have to eat in a single room, or we have to visit outside.

The Cottages at Edgewood was nicely laid out in open areas. The kitchen was open, so you can see the meals that they prepare. They had quite a few activities. It was very nice.
