My mother is at Affinity at Lacey and I might be moving in with her. It has a five-star rating. The places are a little bit smaller, so she'd have to downsize yet again once I move in with her. I like the area, the amenities it offers, it's very quiet, and very well kept up. The staff seems really caring about its residents. It's very well maintained and clean. They've got a swimming pool, a weight room, a theater, and once or twice a week they gather everybody up and take them on trips. At this point, they take care of the residents pretty well, and they seem to be pleased to be living there. It's very nice. She's paying for a two-bedroom apartment, and water, garbage, and heat is all included. Because of the all-inclusive aspect of the price you pay, it's a little bit high for her on her budget.

I went to look at Affinity at Lacey. The place was big. I thought it was nice. I would move in there if I could. They had a nice TV room. I went to a one-bedroom apartment, and it was clean. The staff was professional. They have a brand-new apartment.

We will be moving into Affinity at Lacey. It has everything we need. It's friendly. The price is right. The staff is exceptional. They don't serve food. You get your own food. The apartment is very nice and spacious. Maintenance is very good and high. It's a priority for them. They have a movie theater, pool table, ping pong, card room for different types of card games, puzzles, sewing center, and carpentry center for those who want to do woodworking. It's incredible. They have a saltwater pool, jacuzzi, and gym. It's got everything you'd need. That's why it's hard to get into because nobody wants to leave.

I like the Affinity at Lacey. What I like best about it are the location and management. The apartments are very well kept up. It's a very nice community. The staff members were very friendly and very informative. They took their time and made sure that all of my questions were answered. There's more than enough to do. They have all sorts of activities to keep you busy. You would never have to leave if you didn't want to. They have a library, a computer room, a theater, an arts and crafts room, a sewing room, a game room, a billiard room, an outdoor courtyard, a pool, and a jacuzzi.

My husband and I liked the attitude of the people at Affinity at Lacey. Everybody was very friendly and was like, "What can we do for you?" It was just a nice environment. We will be moving in a few weeks from now, and we're going up there again to sign the rest of the papers. Our overall tour experience was excellent. Somebody just moved out of the unit that we picked, and within three days, they had totally revamped it. The whole thing was just brand new and looks nice. The appliances are all new, and it's been completely repainted. The staff seemed to be very concerned about what we wanted and what we needed. They said they were willing to do pretty much anything we wanted. The surroundings are very pleasant, as well as the units. They very nicely done. If you want a garden, there's one in the back. If you want to set up something for others to join in, then you can go ahead and do it. When we were taking the unit, I mentioned that I would like something that's near where others would meet, and they just had everything. In the morning, if you want, you can have a coffee in your own apartment, or you can go to the center location and have your coffee there. If you want to meet with somebody else, that's always fine. This is an independent living facility, and all of the apartments have a lovely kitchen and brand-new appliances. When I walked into our apartment that they had just redone, it was done exactly to my preference.

I went to Affinity at Lacey and I really liked it. Mom will probably be going there. I think that would be the place for her. They have a lot of things that she can do like different crafts, I believe they have a theater, they have a place where she can watch her dog, they have a garden; she loves to garden. The people I met were very nice.
