We moved into Woodland by Bonaventure. It's near excellent and wonderful. They have just about all the activities. It is very accommodating. The staff members were fine. The maintenance is excellent. They have housekeeping. They have three meals a day here. The cost is comparable to others. The one we're in is a three-story with 147 units. There are activities every day. They have an exercise room and a movie theater. My apartment is excellent. I have a ground-floor apartment with access to my patio. My car is parked outside, so it's really convenient.

I toured Woodland by Bonventure. I like the location which is closest to me. It was a nice tour. The place was clean. Lisa showed me the first apartment on the way so it could be decorated, and I like that. Then she showed me a studio. We went in and she explained everything to me. She showed me three rooms and I had three rooms to choose from. She was letting me know what if I was to call hospice, what kind of questions to ask, and to see what they offered. She was very friendly. It was a nice experience. They had a library, a theater, and they had a craft room. They have two separate dining rooms. They have a place where you can go outside if you want to eat or just relax. They had a laundry room and they had a little area where people were doing puzzles.

I toured Woodland by Bonventure. I was greeted in a warm way, and I thought it was kind of a nice touch they had at their front desk a sign that said, "Welcome." I had expressed to them what I thought my mother would best be served with like a studio apartment type living with assisted care services, and they showed me two floor plans and shared with me how things worked. They showed me that there is dining for different groups of people and stated that if my mom wanted to just have food in her apartment, that would be okay as well. The staff who showed me around seemed knowledgeable about everything. What she didn't know, she would find some information for me. I think it was mostly about pricing that she had to go get. The facility itself seemed a little big, and for my mom at 91, she is not great with directions, and that was one of the things I thought I'm not sure of. But I thought maybe after some time it might be easier for her. I like that there are outside gardening areas that are raised for the residents that like to garden, and that's something my mom is interested in. They have some bingo, painting, and things like that. I like that. I think there were some things about music, too, because my mom loves to sing and had been a singer for most of her life. I found the staff to be warm and personable. I first talked to the director, and she was great. And then the one who showed me around was nice and helpful too. They have a weekly activity calendar and it's quite full, and they gave me the menus, which are very nicely done. I was impressed with all that, and I just thought that would be nice for my mom.

We picked Woodland by Bonaventure because of all the activities. My dad even liked it. He had his own room picked out and everything, then he just kind of took a turn for the worse and went downhill. They treated us so well and they were just very welcoming, and they loved my dad as much as we did. They were so excited to see him. They took us around and showed us the different craft rooms and he got all excited about the crafts. It was very nice and clean. They treated us to a lunch and my dad liked the food. He liked the menu that he would be able to choose from. He was excited when he saw that they did off campus tours every other Friday. They would take the residents to different places. He really got excited when he saw that they were having a wine and cheese tasting party. They even offered him to come in and join in, but we couldn't do it at that time. The food was good. They had a beauty salon and that was extra. They had lots of outdoor space where you could go and walk. They even encouraged people to bring like their feeders and things like that, so that they could sit and watch the birds. Everybody, even the wait staff, came over and talked to my dad when we were having lunch, and they introduced themselves. They were very friendly.

Woodland by Bonaventure was very, very nice. The people were very good and they showed me lots of good stuff. One thing I was interested in was having a full kitchen and having any time dining and they have both of those, which were very important to me. They also have washers and dryers in the rooms. They had a lot of activities for people that were involved in them. They had bingo nights, movie nights, games, a lot of puzzles, and a library, which I was interested in, where you could get books and swap them out and things. The facility itself was very nice. It had wide corridors and doorways so I could go through with my wheelchair without any problem. It's extremely clean, too.

I did a regular tour at Woodland by Bonaventure. They came and picked me up and put me through the tour. I couldn't arrange transportation. They wanted me to come, so they called me and picked me up. I toured the assisted living. They had a model apartment set up, and I looked at that during the tour. It was very quiet, very pleasant, and spacious. The apartment was a good size and had a good-sized bedroom. You could get a bigger bed in there, and I like that about it. It was clean, and everybody was very pleasant there. There was bingo going on at the time, and there were some people there. They have 2 dining rooms as well, and they have a menu. They have their own chef, and I also like that.

Woodland by Bonaventure was clean. It looked okay. I just didn't agree with the pricing structure because their independent living is not really independent. You should have been able to pick and choose your level. At independent living, you should be able to pick and choose the items that you want and or need. For example, you get charged for two meals a day, even though my mother was perfectly capable of making and eating her own food every day. The staff seemed attentive, and the place seemed secure and clean. I've been into many homes and places like that. Bonaventure didn't have that smell.

while my mom was there the lack of communicatuon with staff was horrible. Promises were made by staff and never carried out. Prescriptions were double ordered or never cancelled and mom had to pay for them. This was during covid and they are very short staffed. Cleaning of the rooms was a hit and miss as well as laundry. My mom sadly passed away last february and we just recieved a letter that her June rent payment was late. That is the kind of thing we experienced quite a bit the year and a half that she was there.

My mom is in Woodland by Bonaventure. It's kinda hard to say, especially with the coronavirus going on, them being on lockdown, not being able to go in an and see my mom as her primary caregiver, but it's not their fault. I believe it's the health department's fault. There should be some kind of stipulations for caregivers or something, especially if it's a family member. I should be able to go in and take care of my mom, but due to the health department's strict rules I can't even go in and take care of my mom. I'm set in my ways and I have some problem with the place, but it's not their fault. I pretty much get along with everybody there except for one person. I'm able to talk to my mom via the phone all the time, but I don't know if she's being taken care of. I know that the staff doesn't give her any showers like she's supposed to because I'm not there to give her her showers, and I have to pay to give her showers. That's one thing that doesn't make me happy, or my mother. The coronavirus is taking a toll on me calling in as a caregiver taking care of my mom. I'm not a medical personnel so I can't go in and do it. She says that the food is OK; it's good. My mom has no appetite right now. She hasn't had one for months, so her going into the Bonventure and being able to eat is good. Since I can't go in, I can't keep track of how much food she's eating or not. There's one lady that I don't really care for, she's a little mouthy and pushy; everybody else there is fine. They're supposed to provide some activities, but my mom is one that doesn't really do much so I don't know what they're doing. It was the lowest price that I could find and it was better than some of the other places.

I visited Woodland by Bonaventure, and that's where I'm going to live. The single room was quite massive, with a bathroom, kitchenette, a walk-in closet, and a small living room setup with another for egress. The double rooms were a pretty good size as well, with two rooms, 1-bathroom, a small kitchenette, small living room, and the egress goes out to a balcony since they are on the second floor. It was a pleasant balcony. The single rooms are mostly on the bottom floor. The food is excellent, the chef is very knowledgeable, the staff is very knowledgeable, and always willing to assist. I really enjoyed my visit there.

My husband moved into the memory care of Bonaventure of Lacey. The building itself is really nice and clean, and the memory unit seems to be fairly clean. We have some problems with getting clothes washed, beddings changed, and working on getting things up to speed. One of the things that appealed to us was that they take them to the assisted living for activities two or three times a week. The activity director seems quite good in getting him to do things. He is in a suite with two decent-sized rooms divided by a joint bathroom and other facilities. The rooms seemed like a better size than other places, and his room fits a bed, a good-size chair, dressers, and TV. The staff seems caring, clean, and doing their job. There seemed to be more at lunch time, the food seemed to be well-balanced, and he eats a lot. They also have a 90-day trial period, and it was good for us.

Bonaventure of Lacey was a very good, large facility. They had all the bells and whistles that you would need. In my Dad's case, it's too big of a facility for him. The hallways were narrow, so they gave you the feeling of being in close quarters. It's a beautiful facility with large rooms. The independent living rooms had a very nice kitchen and were updated. The bathrooms had a nice storage cabinet within them. The dining hall felt like a big mess hall. Their menu had two items and that's it.

The Woodland was small and had wide hallways. They had two separate dining rooms, so you don't feel like you're in a big mess hall. The dining felt a little bit more intimate. One of the nice things was that at the end of each hallway, there was a washer and dryer that the residents could use; they had a little round disc with each person's name on it, so if you're doing your laundry, you just put your disc with your name on that washing machine. If you forget about it, people can knock at your door if they noticed it's been in there for a couple of hours. The independent living units were a little small, and there weren't any cabinets to put anything in the bathrooms, even though the unit itself had a lot of storage areas. I liked that they had a variety on their menu. I only interacted with one person.

My friend is in Bonaventure of Lacey, and her husband is pretty happy with it. She has a room which is small but adequate, and she has a roommate. The community is clean, and it seemed like it's really updated. It's not an old dilapidated building, so it seemed fairly new. Everyone is friendly, and it's a nice place.

Bonaventure of Lacey seemed nice. It was large and very clean. We had lunch there; the food was very good. The dining area was very nice, too. They had a library, a game room, and some exercise. They have field trips, but by the time we got there, everybody had already had their lunch and was off and about, so I didn’t see any activities besides what they showed us. The rooms were very nice. She took us to 3 different ones, so we got to see small, medium, and a larger room. It was a nice selection. They were just like apartments. I was impressed.

I visited the Woodland. The rooms were very good. The people were very nice. It was an older facility, but it was very orderly and clean with good décor. They were having card games when I was there and had activities going on all day long.

We were very pleased with Bonventure and ended up putting my father-in law there. It's new at only seven years old. The rooms were fresh, clean, and modern. They have a fitness room, game room, library, and a computer bar where you can also get coffee. They have personal laundry services, two dining rooms, and a very well-prepared weekly menu with a daily special and options besides the daily special. The food is very tasty, and proportions were not too big; just right for the elderly.

I really liked the openness and spaciousness of Woodland. The dining areas were big and clean. The staff was very friendly. The rooms’ sizes were generous. They offered much more activities than the other place that we looked at, so we were impressed. They had a shuttle that brought patients into town and doctors' appointments once a week. They could serve three meals a day if you wanted.

My dad is in the Bonaventure of Lacey. It is really close. They actually have a full kitchen while other places we looked at only had a mini fridge and microwave. He doesn't cook much, but it is just nice to have a sink, running water, and more cupboards. He has a private bedroom, which is not just a wall that separate a bed from the rest of the place. There are many activities and outings offered, plus a little shuttle bus that goes right to the church that he belongs to, which is nice. The staff seems helpful, personable, and accommodating.

My mom enjoys her time there, its hard moving but she has adjusted and has made friends. Its big so she has places she goes and reads where she is not bothered and then tons of activities when she wants to get involved. Food is good as well, always comes out hot.

I wouldn't put my most hated enemy in this place. They are NEVER staffed. My grandmother has had repeated sores on her bottom from not being toileted or repositioned enough in her wheelchair and/or bed. Bonaventure doesn't even provide toilet paper! Family is expected to provide absolutely EVERYTHING from toilet paper to razors or toothbrush for that matter. If family doesnt provide, resident goes without! Room always smells like old urine. They don't mark any of the client's property with their name and so lose their belongings then expect family to replace. Charges $7000 a month for the memory care and provide nothing but food and a room. I am very frequently told that "we are short staffed" is why staff doesn't do any "care" for residents.

Everything is wonderful at Woodland by Bonaventure. They are very caring and helpful and help us in everything to make the transition much easier for my daughter’s father-in-law. It’s going really well. It’s beautiful, and the atmosphere is above average for what I would have expected for an assisted living facility.

My mother moved in a couple of weeks ago to Bonaventure of Lacey, and it's really nice. She's very happy there. The staff is very accommodating and pleasant. The food has been good and on most occasions, I like it. They have card games; the shuttle that takes them to doctors' appointments, stores, and casinos; television; telephone with long distance and local calling; and really nice rooms. I can't really think of anything to complain about. It's been fine. My mother is pretty happy considering she's pretty tough to please most of the time.

I visited Woodland by Bonaventure. It was fine, but I didn’t like it as much as the other facility. It actually could have worked for my mom but I don’t about my dad because he is more social. It’s a little bit older and it was not as active. The rooms were nice. I saw two different two-bedrooms. One had a nice kitchen. I think they had a washer and dryer in it. It had a nice room with large ceiling. It was bright. They had a dining hall. The staff was very nice.

I visited Bonaventure of Lacey. When I talked to them, they were like the average age of 80. They did seem to have more activities. They talked more about going out into the community and having shuttle to do that. The dining rooms were better. I just like this facility better.

Bonaventure of Lacey is a lovely place. The apartments were nicely accommodated, beautiful, and nice. The only problem is the pet restriction. They only allow two, and I have more than two and would still have to rehome several of my other pets, so I had to stay where I am. The place was on par with the other places and cost the same as where I am now, so it wouldn’t really save me anything. If anything, it might even be a little more expensive plus I'd have to rehome several of my pets.

The location of Woodland by Bonaventure is better than the other facility I visited, plus, the people were compatible. The lady who assisted me was very nice and very professional. She asked me in advance for my dessert preference, and she had it made for me. She was exceedingly nice. The food was very good. They have two dining areas, but I only saw one and thought it was very nice. I think they had some dancing going on when I was there. They also have some physical activities and go on tours if you want to go somewhere. Their rates are higher than the other one I visited, however.

We placed my parents at Bonaventure of Lacey. The staff is really friendly. My dad is in assisted living, and my mom is in the memory-care unit. However, the issue that I have is that initially, when my mom was placed there, she was using a walker, and we had a transport wheelchair for her, so she ended up sitting most of the time. Now, she is at the point where she has to have two-person assist for toileting and for dressing. Also, she has developed a huge pressure sore on her right gluteal fold. As of right now, she is in the hospital. They have a weekly field trips to different facilities. They also have musical entertainment that they provide, which my dad likes a lot. My dad is in a one-bedroom apartment. My mom is in a jack-and-jill room, where they have a bathroom in the middle and there are residents on each side.

My mom moved to Woodland last June 1st. The staff's work ethics is good, but they are just understaffed. I’ve been there twice a week, so her move in would be successful. The room is nice, and they promised that it would be all clean, but they did not do it; I’m not happy about it. It looks like there are a lot of things for people to do if they want, and that looks nice. My mother goes to an exercise class twice a week, and that’s OK. The food is alright, but I found the glasses dirty, and one was chipped. There are two dining areas. The first one has a salad bar, while the second one doesn’t.

I visited Bonaventure of Lacey for my husband. The girl that gave me a tour was very positive and very informative. The facility was a beautiful place. To me, I saw a lot more couples there than individuals in the lunch rooms. They had a couple of different lunch rooms. The apartments were beautifully done. The dementia care was very nice also. I didn't find any fault at all. They were very willing to answer questions. Regarding activities, I did not really observe any. I saw that they have a huge family area set-up upstairs. They had facilities that the family could use even outside, you know, if they want to have a family reunion or something. They seemed to really want to work with their people. It was a very beautiful atmosphere.

The staff at Bonaventure of Lacey is very friendly. They try to be helpful and accommodating, but they are overworked. There are just too many people and not enough staff. The room is very clean and very nice. I have eaten there, and the food is good. The dining room is clean. They have a beauty parlor and a movie theater. They have a piano, and people come in to entertain. They have buses to take people to different places and trips. As for the security and safety of the place, I think they are good. They need more staff though. My dad has been there for three months, and they still haven't gotten his medications correct. I have had it with their medical staff.

My grandmother is in the memory care facility. It is improving but the staff could use some improvements. They are always moving around but not accomplishing anything. Her clothes are often missing and supplies disappear quite quickly. When our family voices concerns they pretend to listen but the problem is rarely fixed. If she was able to move without complications we probably would but we are stuck. We will continue to monitor.

I have my uncle in Bonaventure of Lacey. Everything about it is great. Everything is wonderful. Their activities are great. They have a lot of activities. They have games, puzzles, bingo, bowling on the Wii, and happy hour twice a week. They have musicians that come in once a week. Bonaventure of Lacey is way better than the other facility. I would recommend this place to anybody. Before my uncle went to this place, it was like he didn't have life, and now he has a lot of life. He smiles, he is happy, and he met friends.

The people at Bonaventure of Woodland are very good to you here. There are a lot of retired people, and also they are assisted living facilities and you get know those people too. All in all, it is close to my family. They have all kinds of activities going on here, and they take them out places for those that are not able to drive, and they offer a lot of varieties of different things. They want you to feel very comfortable here, so everybody is included and everybody has a good time. It’s kept up pretty well, there are a lot of assisted living accidents, but other than that, that’s not out in the open. Some days the food is good and some days are better but I can cook, we cook in our apartment and we got spoiled here. It’s a three-story building.

Lived here for 3 years. We have really enjoyed living at Bonaventure. None of our apprehensions have come true and the pleasant ease of life has been wonderful. Excellent activities and excellent facilities.

The Bonaventure of Lacey was fancier looking, more beautiful, but more expensive. The apartments were nice, and their colors were pleasant. I liked that the hallways were more spacious and had more windows. They had open ceilings around their foyers that made it all the more airy and pretty. I enjoyed the staff. One came over with a sample of their food, even; she came to our house. She really went out of her way to make us comfortable, and it was all a pleasant experience. It wasn’t high pressure, it just felt like friendliness. We would have gone there if we could afford it. They were in a pleasant setting, with trees around, and more quiet.

What's not to like? Everything is wonderful. The food is great. Service is good. I've never been any place that’s as nice as this.

Bonaventure of Lacey seemed relatively clean. I liked that it was brand new and very contemporary. It was a big facility and much better than the one where my aunt was. I had the impression that you could get lost in there pretty fast because it was huge with a lot of rooms. The staff was very friendly and they did a lot follow-up by phone. They had a variety of different sizes of apartments, and any of the sizes would have been fine for my aunt, even the smallest ones would have been fine. They were a very active community with a lot of activities going on.

My aunt is in Woodland by Bonaventure. We choose it because it is a smaller community. The facility itself is relatively new and beautiful. Their best feature is their staff. The care there is excellent and they have good follow through. They treat my aunt very well and they are very good. My aunt has a two-room apartment with a living room and a bedroom area. It is perfect for her. The food is very good and she has no problem with it. They have a menu style and they have a variety of things in the menu all the time. There are additional different entrées each meal. They can also sit anywhere they want in the dining area. They have a huge variety of activities that they can participate in.

Service for dinner was courteous but sometimes very slow. Meat is often overcooked and dry.

Carestaff and ed techs are outstanding, Housekeeping and food are not so good. Activities- no reason to be bored. I know they are working on housekeeping and food- when it gets better maybe I can recommend.

Overall the staff is excellent. The system in dining room needs improvement. The do not have enough people to serve. The front desk is always cheerful and helpful.

Bonaventure was a large place that was both independent and assisted. The facility was nice and it was very large. We met the activities people. They were very pleasant and they had all kinds of activities. The girl who showed us around was very aggressive. My mom is 98 years old and this woman was calling my mom Mom and putting her arm around her which was very cacky especially for my mom. She didn't know her so that was uncomfortable for her. When we got all done with the tour and she was giving us some information, she pulled out these Sudoku books or crossword books and she was talking to our mom like she was a child. My mom looked at her and thought she was crazy. We were very not impressed with the place. Presbyterian Manors is centrally located between all my brothers and my sister. It was more of my mother's decision than ours. She has a really nice room. I believe she likes the food there. The staff was very accommodating.

We are living here in Bonaventure of Lacey. The rooms are nice and large. The staff is nice. However, we are not very happy with the food, even though we have plenty of it. There are lots of activities, but nobody participates. We are comfortable here and I recommend them to others.

We were quiet satisfied with Bonaventure and we chose it because of the combination of the facilities, staff, convenience, and location. The staff are amazing. They have activities for the residents.

This is a beautiful facility with friendly staff. The employees, however, are over tasked and cannot always attend to needs. This could be solved instantly with hiring of more staff and management instead of cutting back so much. Once our family member needed more assistance, the community was not able to facilitate the needs
